Its food has been great for my pet's kidney condition. Vet & others agree that he is doing well considering he is a senior dog (age 17).

My husband and I have been ordering food from Darwin's pets for YEARS! I saw a commercial the other day for another newer raw food pet company claiming to be a " pioneer in raw pet food"! I doubt it. I have been using Darwin's pet for at least 3 of my miniature dachshunds for more years than I can remember. My last surviving one is over 16 years old! I started using Darwin's pet because my dachshund was allergic to literally, no exaggeration, every commercial dry dog food available at the time. I had read about raw food diets for canines and checked a few recipes out. I was trying to do it all on my own and it helped with the allergies but I was really worried about my dog not getting proper nutrition. Then I found Darwin's pet. Everything was so customizable it was like they knew exactly what my dog needed to be healthy. When I took him to the vet this week for his regular checkup, She was shocked at how healthy he is for his age. ! He is very healthy an active for an elderly dachshund! She said whatever you've been doing just keep doing it! I really feel like my dogs' top quality diet is what keeps them so healthy. I would not buy anything else.

We’ve trusted Darwin with all 6 of our dogs over the past 12 years, across every life stage, from puppies to seniors, and the results have been consistently impressive. What stands out most is how adaptable the food is to very different dogs with very different needs. For example, we adopted a 5-year-old pit with severe allergies, his skin was red, irritated, and he was constantly uncomfortable. A vet put him on a hypoallergenic vegan diet, which never felt like a real solution for a dog like him. When we switched to Darwin, their team guided us step by step, starting with turkey and then gradually introducing other proteins. The transformation was real. His allergies cleared, his skin healed, and now he has a shiny coat and excellent body condition. We constantly get compliments on how healthy he looks. Across all our dogs, we’ve seen the same patterns: steady, healthy growth and energy levels, and no crazy weight gain like we experienced with even high-end commercial foods. On top of that, their customer service is outstanding. We had a delivery hiccup once, and it was resolved quickly and professionally. After more than a decade and six very different dogs, Darwin has proven to be one of the few products that genuinely delivers long-term results, not just promises.
