My cat does NOT like your cat food. Won't touch it

Darwins products are always 5 star for me and my pets! and after years of shipments with no troubles - for some reason this time around something went wrong. It wasn't delivered on the delivery date because the drivers note said "no one was there to receive it".???? the shipping note of over 7 yrs says to slip behind gate. When I called the next day to see if it would be delivered, the note the driver left the company was that the "road was closed" NO IT WAS NOT! half of the shipment was 90% thawed the rest about 50%. What happened? It has always been left behind the fence/gate...and to say the road was shut down? Nope. outright incorrect. There were no road closures. I live on a ranch, and have always had it left at the gate for over 7 years. Is there a new shipper?? I suspect they just didn't want to drive out of town to our address...... :(

Food is very high quality and always arrives fresh and on time.

The product is great, but I don’t think it can be a long-term solution for us. I need to explore more cost-effective options for our two cats.

We can see a difference in our dogs - more energy and leaner.

It's the best dog food we've found. We have 2 dogs with sensitive digestion problems & this works for both of them. Delivery is to our door & is almost always on time. If there'll be a delay you let us know. The 1 time the delivery went astray you replaced it as soon as you could.

Fast service and cats love the food.

I researched for info on how you would ship to me, being as the produce should arrive frozen. I live 45 minutes north of Mobile, AL. I was pretty hopeful, since you were shipping from Florida. I received all the UPS alerts, until the time it REALLY mattered. The morning of delivery, UPS messaged me that my package would be delayed. No reason, no idea when it would be back en route. Now I already knew that it had been shipped almost 2 days, and Jacksonville, FL is about 1,000 miles from me, so I called to ask about the package. The young man was nice, but really had no ideas other than wait for it to get here & let us know if it's spoiled. I was out checking chicks and noticed a package at the end of my driveway. It was the package from Darwin's, for which I had not received any further UPS alerts, and which was now quite warm in the sun, as it had obviously been there a couple of hours without me receiving a delivery alert. :-\ I lugged it to the house and opened it. It had no dry ice. It was all thawed and squishy, but still cold, so I took a chance and put it all in the freezer. Yes, my cat does like it. No, I will not be ordering again. After waiting so long for shipping and then delivery, and the way it arrived totally defrosted but still cool, no way am I risking $200 for another boxful. Sorry, but you guys screwed the pooch on this one.
