Terry, We appreciate your feedback and are very sorry to hear of your experience. Please note that Daniels Trading is an Introducing Broker and your funds and positions are held at GAIN Capital Inc., a Futures Commission Merchant (“FCM”). Each FCM has the obligation to manage the risk of all of their customers and each FCM carries out this responsibility differently. Neither the individual broker nor the introducing broker can govern an FCM’s policy. GAIN’s policy is to automatically liquidate a customer’s positions when certain thresholds are met and your account met those thresholds. Given the fast paced nature of the futures markets, it is impossible to know which direction the market is going to move in these types of situations, and FCM’s must take a prudent approach to risk management. We deeply value the longstanding relationship you have with your broker and with Daniels Trading and hope we can continue to be a part of your futures trading journey. If you would like to further discuss your concerns, please contact your broker or reach out to us at 800.800.3840 or [email protected].
