Patrick, Thanks for taking the time to let us know about your experience. We are sorry to hear that your son had difficulty with the account opening process. While we value all of our clients and prospective clients, we recognize that regulations can be prohibitive. We attempt to make the account opening process as clear and simple as possible, yet there are times when it can become cumbersome. We strive to work with our New Accounts Department to let them know of the client needs for ease and privacy. However, we are subject to industry rules and regulations as well as to the policies and procedures of the Futures Commission Merchants (“FCM”) that ultimately carries the account. Our care and service is truly for our clients, but the rules are a necessary part of the account opening process and are for the customer’s protection.
