Avoid this bunch like the plague.. I bought a Dakine bag which split in two places on the first trip. A combination of poor design and material selection. Dakine will not accept the bag is not of appropriate quality under UK consumer law and are trying to fob me off to the airline..I am having to take the Retailer, Gravity Protection, to court to get this resolved…I would avoid both Gravity Protection and Dakine… chronic customer service.

I would have to totally agree with the negative comments about warranty and bad customer services. I bought 2 Split Top Rollers in March and went away once with them. I thought they would be durable enough from the positive comments (now realised they were not in the UK). With this in mind, I bought another 2 for my children on 11th July. We have just returned from a trip abroad and used 3 of the bags and at first I thought that there was only 1 bag damaged and contacted Dakine CS to ask about their warranty. What a surprise - not covered as 'appears to be consistent with external abrasion, rather than manufacturing warranty.' The photo I sent them looks more than an external abrasion and now also after checking the other 2 bags I have noticed that they are all exhibiting the same damage in the same place. This looks like they have put the protective rubber covers in the wrong place on the bags. I asked if I could return the bag that I haven't used yet that I purchased on 11th July, as I do not want another bag with the same issue. But of course not, It's now out of their 30 day policy. Terrible customer service and over £700 down the drain! Avoid this company at all costs

With more than one product now, I find their customer service poor. They either don't respond or are very slow and generally unhelpful.

Purchased 2 Dakine Roller cases about 5 years ago, but only used 5 times. The wheels on both cases have perished, so unless you want to run the risk of having to carry your luggage, I would strongly avoid. I tried contacting customer service and response was that they could not provide replacement wheels.

Got their Dakine Heli Pack 12L lately. Amazing bag for snowboarding and going on small weekly vacations! Wouldn't work for low-cost flights but going around the city with it is a pleasure!

Dreadful decline in quality- the company should be re-named "Decline" -gloves for MTB are pathetic now. Don't honor 'lifetime/non-expiring warranty coupons anymore. Hopeless. AVOID.

My roller bag also ripped after one use, and they claimed it isn't covered by the warranty. I'm incredibly disappointed with the bag and the customer service - what's the point of paying close to £200 for something that rips before even getting on a flight? Avoid!!!

Bought a bag from the UK website & qualified for free standard delivery so the item should arrive in two to four days but it turned up the next morning less than 24 hours from ordering to getting it. Great service!
