Avoid using this service at all costs! Package was stuck for 2 months and would not respond to any form of contact. We have now been informed that "due to circumstances we can't proceed with the delivery" and the support ticket was closed immediately without giving us a chance to enquire further. We had sentimental items that were being sent from a family member overseas that are now lost forever. Hope you step on a rusty nail.

ONE STAR – TWO SEPARATE SHIPMENTS, REPEATED FALSE DELIVERY ATTEMPTS AND ABSOLUTELY APPALLING SERVICE! I am extremely frustrated and disappointed with the service provided by DAI Post Australia. I purchased two separate items from the United States, approximately three weeks apart. On BOTH occasions, shipping was paid for, with DHL handling the international shipping and DAI Post apparently responsible for the final delivery in Australia. On both occasions, DAI Post claimed to have "attempted delivery", despite the delivery address being a fully operational business, staffed from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm. Even more frustrating, these supposed delivery attempts occurred multiple times. I PAID FOR DELIVERY, YET I WAS FORCED TO SPEND AN HOUR OF MY OWN TIME GOING OUT OF MY WAY TO COLLECT A PARCEL THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN DELIVERED TO MY ADDRESS! Why should a paying customer have to waste their own time and incur additional inconvenience because a courier company cannot fulfil the basic service it has been paid to provide? Once might be an unfortunate mistake. But experiencing the same issue with two completely separate shipments, three weeks apart, suggests a serious and recurring problem with their delivery operations. I strongly question whether these delivery attempts were genuinely made. The business was open, staffed and available to receive deliveries during its operating hours. To make matters worse, I never chose DAI Post in the first place. DHL was the shipping provider, and DAI Post appears to have been assigned the final delivery. What exactly am I paying shipping fees for if I ultimately have to collect the parcels myself? Two shipments. Two shipping charges. Multiple questionable delivery attempts. An hour of my own time wasted collecting a parcel. Absolutely unacceptable. DAI Post needs to be held accountable for its delivery performance and the accuracy of its tracking information. I would not recommend DAI Post to anyone. Based on my repeated experience, their service has been unreliable, inconvenient and completely unsatisfactory.

DO NOT SHIP Items with this Parcel Company This postal service left my parcel sitting for three weeks in Customs, then contact me 3 days before Customs where going to throw my parcel in the trash.

Absolutely do not recommend using this delivery company if you have any choice in the matter; they are the worst. Delivery seems to be 'optional' with your packages; there is no helpful followup and no recourse when they misdeliver. All operating from overseas call centres. Avoid! 0/10

Why would my parcel land in Sydney and instead of going straight down to me in central NSW it went all the way to Melbourne and now has to come back up to me? Wasteful, slow and utterly useless. You have no clue on how to run a business and need to be shut down. Pathetic.

Absolute worst delivery company in the nation, THE WORST! Had an expensive parcel coming from the US. DAI picked it up from customs and it was never seen again. Rang them multiple times and always got the same spiel, "we're going to investigate where your parcel is and we'll email you the findings in 24-48 hours". Never got an email once about it. They are liars and thieves.

One star is too generous. A parcel for our son in Australia, dispatched from the UK via Evri on 27 August 2026, arrived in Melbourne on 5 September 2026. On 9 September, we were advised by Evri that the parcel was being held by DAI post and that receipts and photographs of the contents of the parcel were required. We do not have these but I can say with confidence that the parcel DID NOT contain any items prohibited by the Australian Government. It contains low-value snacks - crisps, biscuits and chocolate - for our ex-pat son missing a taste of home. It also contained a 250g bag of coffee beans. I have emailed DAI three times, and copied the company into my correspondence with other agencies/departments, but have not had even the courtesy of a response, let alone any advice about how to resolve the impasse. When I entered the tracking number for the parcel into DAI post's website this morning, the tracking number isn't recognised. Where is my parcel? Who knows? I feel that I am the victim of a scam and that my parcel has been stolen.
