The Daily WireReviews of dailywire.com

Con artists …plain and simple Signed up for the free week trial, charged my card within 24hours for the year. Told no refunds. Called credit card company and put a stop payment. Sad, these “guys” are losers. Done giving my money to these crooks. Should have read the reviews here first. Shows their true colors.

Signed up for monthly and they charged the whole year at once. Disputed it but no use. They say once you click no refunds even.

On July 1, 2022, I signed up for a one-month subscription to the Daily Wire for $14 on their mobile website out of a desire to explore some of their content. As soon as I made the one-month selection (listed at a total of $14 billed on a month-to-moth basis) and entered my payment information, I was immediately taken to a confirmation page which showed that I had purchased an ANNUAL all-access subscription at the cost of $240 pre-tax. Seconds later, I received an email from The Daily Wire notifying me that my credit card had been charged $260.64 by the Daily Wire (the price of the subscription plus tax). I did NOT authorize this charge. I immediately filed a customer support request on the Daily Wire website with the above details and it took numerous interactions over the course of over two weeks to finally be issued a partial refund (only after I threatened to report the charge as fraudulent to American Express). In reading through other complaints on various websites (Better Business Bureau, Trustpilot, etc.) it is clear that my experience was far from unique and that this is a terrible, unscrupulous company more than happy to prey upon people.

Content looked interesting. They quoted monthly fee so signed up to try. Turns out they charge the full year with no refund when cancelled. So much for covering news - just a scam to get fees,

No refunds for membership and that is not mentioned anywhere. Not even pro-rated. Not even if you have issues accessing the content. They don't tell you that up front and even have a "You’re able to cancel your subscription at any time by accessing your account settings online, or by submitting a request here ." in their welcome e-mail and in other places. Total lie. You can't cancel anything. You have to wait until your subscription is over. Very disappointed. It's set up for auto-renewal and you have to answer numerous questions as to your intentions and why you cancelled and so on if you want to cancel the auto-renew. I made the mistake of going for the yearly thinking they were an honorable company. They are not.

Turns out the shows are just one big advertisement. Shapiro "bonus hour" often not hosted by him...or even up at all. Thot I'd support a good cause..I believe they grew too fast and are in over thier heads. I pay to listen to or watch the shows...not advertising. Disappointing. Also cannot find a customer support link to share my feedback directly.

It's very unfortunate that these awesome people have a billing issue. I purchased a month of service to watch, What is a woman. I cancelled right after watching it. Well, what do you know, they have been charging me every month. I've gotten my credit card to give me refunds for the last two months but this effort takes time and is straight up annoying. I will cancel my credit card to stop them if I get one more bogus charge. By the way, when I logon to my Daily Wire account, it asks if I want to re-subscribe and doesn't show the several payments that they stole from my account. What is going on here?

I subscribed on a monthly basis in order to watch a few of the movies. However, what was not made clear to me was that the monthly subscription entitles you to the very bare minimum. Thus the vast majority of shows (and all of the shows with bigger name commentators) on the site are inaccessible unless I pay the annual subscription. I deem this to be absolutely disgraceful on account of the lack of transparency on this. Like many other reviewers, I sorely wish I had perused Trustpilot before giving any money to these hucksters. Based on these reviews, I don't have much faith they'll refund me. We'll see... EDIT: I have subsequently discovered that this was an error with the website, as the mobile app allows me access a lot more content. However, my negative review still stands, as customer service has been nonexistent, and the problem of poor content access still remains on my laptop. I feel I am paying a high price to watch Jordan Peterson on my Phone, when much similar content can be found for free on YouTube.
