I wanted one year only and chose my free mug Never received merchandise was billed and was just now charged another year

My experience is similar to other reviewers. I am now retired, and their annual charge has increased, so I decided I would not renew. I went onto their website to cancel, but it was a bit complicated and I gave up and then forgot. When I received an email July 6th, 2023, that the subscription had been renewed, I immediately sent Daily Wire an email cancelling. I also immediately checked my bank and the charge had not yet been processed. I sent another email to customer service two days later and was informed that because I had replied so quickly, they would give me a 20% refund and I would be able to access my account for the year. I replied to the email saying that I was shocked and disappointed by their behavior and sharp business practices. I was charged $205.92 Canadian and received $37.24 in return. The same day, a follow-up survey email arrived asking me to rate how satisfied I was with how my issue was handled. It made me angry, but I decided to respond by repeating the details and how I felt betrayed and more than disappointed by their behavior. In no place obvious is it stated that they have a no refund policy. I wonder if Jordan Peterson or Dennis Prager are aware of this policy, or how they would feel about it if they did. In my experience with immediate late cancelling, the funds are returned without difficulty. Irrespective of Daily Wire content, peoples' relation to money speaks much louder than their words, even if you naively supported their words, as I do. Emotionally, I will recover from the pain of feeling cheated, but I will not forget. There are other sources covering issues with a conservative viewpoint that are a little more humble and grateful for ongoing customer support.

1. I thought I might get some additional news and insight. But not anything that other news outlets like Fox or Newsmax offer for free. 2. Subscriptions are VERY deceptive. You cannot really cancel anytime. You are lured into a yearly subscription. When you try to cancel you'll find out it didn't work AFTER your subscription date is up and they hit you with another year. Impossible to delete credit card info. Despite phone calls they don't budge. Check Better Business website. Over 250 complaints about similar issues. I hate complaining about a conservative organization, but watch out for Daily Wire.

They are purely scam artists. They charge you for a yearly subscription all at once after misleading you into believing that you can pay monthly. When you try to watch anything on the app, it says you don’t have access to it because they want an additional payment to do that. I was scammed out of 108$. I can’t even access the content

Read the fine print. I signed up to watch one thing, ended the subscription and ended up paying 48 Dollars for readers premium due to auto renewal. I did not anticipate that happening. Also they make it difficult to remove your payment info. I don't even think it is possible to delete your account.

Impossible to cancel $48 yearly subscription without getting your credit card provider to block Daily Wire from automatically billing credit card after you cancel subscription. Daily Wire even has capability to bill credit card after its been reissued with new expiration date & security code.

Cancelled subscription a few days ago. Got charged today for another month. Do not subscribe!

My wife thinks a lot of Jordan Petersen and Ben Shapiro. If I misspelled a name, who cares because I am done with any conservatives with unscrupulous business schemes that prey on their followers. Like so many reviews before, deceptive subscription offers and charges, no refunds, lack of customer service, and to take the cake, once I finally found a phone number (818-699-9948), nothing but arrogance about what they do to consumers. I am tired of the left and right working us up so we don't feel their hand going in our pocket. The real Ben and Jordan don't share my values.
