Hidden renewal and no refund decision after a month
I was charged USD 20 on September 19, 2026 for an annual Auto Backup renewal, even though the subscription was not visible in my account and I therefore had no way to cancel it through the customer portal. I contacted support two days later and provided the receipt. Support confirmed the active recurring subscription and eventually disabled future renewals on October 1, but my refund request has remained “pending with the billing team” for over a month. Multiple follow-ups led only to the same response: no decision and no timeframe. I no longer use CyberPanel and requested the refund promptly. The front-line agents were polite, but a billing process that hides the subscription and provides no refund decision or timeline is unacceptable. I will update this review if CyberPanel refunds the charge.

Avoid CyberPanel — Terrible Billing and Refund Experience
My experience with CyberPanel has been extremely disappointing, and I strongly recommend that others think carefully before trusting them with their payment information.
I attempted to add $12 to my account, but my card was charged $1,200. I reported the problem approximately four minutes after the transaction and immediately requested that the money be returned.
I did not use the money. I did not purchase any service with it. CyberPanel itself later confirmed in writing that the entire balance remained untouched and that no services or orders had been purchased against it.
Despite this, I spent weeks trying to get my money back. Multiple escalations were opened, and CyberPanel later admitted that four of my escalations had been automatically closed without any human action.
What made the experience even worse was that while my refund request remained pending for weeks, CyberPanel found the time to submit a response to Stripe to contest my card dispute.
CyberPanel later confirmed to me in writing that their own records could not show what amount I had typed into the browser, that I had reported the $1,200 charge approximately four minutes after it happened, that 3-D Secure was absent, and that the entire balance was still unused.
Their justification was their policy that account top-ups are non-refundable. But they also acknowledged in their Stripe submission that this policy was “the merchant policy position, not independent proof of authorization.”
In other words, I reported an alleged $12 → $1,200 charging error within minutes, used none of the funds, and yet I still had to go through a card dispute and weeks of escalation instead of receiving a prompt refund.
Eventually, the disputed amount was reversed back to my card through my bank while the dispute process was being handled.
Based on this experience, I completely lost confidence in CyberPanel’s billing and customer support processes. I would not trust them with another payment, and I personally recommend that customers consider other providers.
Keep copies of every payment receipt and every support conversation if you decide to use this company.

they will take your money without permission
Auto topup was disabled, about to close account and they still took money off my account a month later. Refuses to refund it and and even disputing the dispute with my bank. I would not recommend you connect any payment method nor take out services from them as clousure was due to more than 15 compromises and they still failed to secure the servers.

Criminal Organization our of Pakistan with Fake Reviews
I strongly recommend that anyone considering paying CyberPanel for add-ons or services read this before giving them a credit card.
My experience with CyberPanel's billing practices has been unbelievable.
I had an "All Addons" subscription for $59/year. I repeatedly requested that it be cancelled and refunded because I wasn't using the service. This wasn't simply a disagreement about whether I deserved a refund. I was trying to CANCEL A RECURRING SUBSCRIPTION.
CyberPanel's own support eventually investigated my account and confirmed the following:
The subscription was created July 17, 2025.
They charged my card $59 on July 17, 2025.
They charged my card another $59 on July 17, 2026.
Neither charge had been refunded.
The subscription was STILL ACTIVE.
The license had become detached from my account, which is why the service didn't even appear in my dashboard.
There was no self-service option for me to cancel this add-on subscription myself.
Their support records showed a December 2025 conversation in which cancellation and a refund had already been discussed/committed to.
Yet after repeated requests, support continued telling me that only their billing/admin team could actually cancel it and that they couldn't give me any timeline for when that would happen.
Think about that for a moment: they were able to keep charging the card, but the customer couldn't cancel the subscription himself, frontline support couldn't cancel it, and apparently nobody who could cancel it would respond.
This wasn't resolved after one email. It became an extended series of messages where I repeatedly told them to simply CANCEL THE SUBSCRIPTION. Eventually their own support representative admitted in writing that the subscription remained active and acknowledged that the lack of a customer cancellation option was a "genuine gap" in their system.
I have saved the complete support thread.
I would also take CyberPanel's glowing online reviews with considerable skepticism. In my opinion, a large share of the positive reviews look fake, incentivized, or otherwise unnatural. Many are extremely short, generic, marketing-style comments that bear little resemblance to the detailed complaints from customers describing actual technical, billing and support problems. Independent research I reviewed found the same pattern and also found that CyberPanel advertised a higher Trustpilot rating on its own website than the live regional Trustpilot ratings that could be located.
I cannot personally prove who wrote those positive reviews or whether someone was paid for them, so readers should examine them and make their own judgment. But I certainly would not rely on the headline star rating when deciding whether to give this company recurring billing authority.
My issue is particularly concerning because similar complaints appear elsewhere online involving refunds, recurring billing and charges occurring after customers believed services had been cancelled.
A legitimate subscription business should make cancellation straightforward. It shouldn't require months of support requests and multiple employees repeatedly telling a customer that someone else has to take care of it while the subscription remains active.
Based on my experience, I would never give CyberPanel another credit card number, and I would strongly caution anyone considering purchasing their paid add-ons or services.
I have documentation to substantiate what happened, including CyberPanel's own support messages confirming the charges, subscription status, missing service and inability to self-cancel.
For others that have experienced the same thing, please file a complain with Stripe. They need to know what this vendor is an isn't doing.

security misconfiguration, overbilling, and silent backend changes to existing policy during refund dispute
I ran a production server on CyberPanel's paid Cloud VPS for about seven weeks in early 2026. This review is about the paid Cloud VPS hosting service, not the free open-source panel software. I wanted it to work and I gave it a fair chance. In the end I moved to another provider and had to recover my money through a bank dispute. Here is the honest, complete picture.
What was good
Storage for the price was genuinely strong. My plan included a large NVMe allocation for the monthly cost, better per-gigabyte than most competitors I priced against.
The front-line support agents were, for the most part, polite, responsive, and technically capable on day-to-day tickets.
When I documented specific outages, the team did issue itemized service credits for several of them.
Where it went wrong
The paid migration onto the VPS was marked "complete and verified" but was not. It left broken file paths, a backup job silently pointing at the old location, a database that kept crashing, desynced database passwords, and SSH locked out because the root credentials were not preserved. I fixed most of it myself over several hours.
The VM was under-provisioned against what I paid for. I purchased and was invoiced for 32 GB of RAM; the VM was actually running with roughly half of that, due to a memory-ballooning misconfiguration that their own administrator acknowledged in writing as "a configuration error on our side."
Their virtualization host filled its own disk to 100 percent, which corrupted the cluster filesystem and, combined with the half-provisioned memory, caused an out-of-memory outage of roughly eleven hours in March.
The server suffered repeated kernel-level lockups, three of them in eleven days from the same root cause, each marked resolved when it was not.
The mail service went through a crash loop that delayed outbound email for hours, and outbound mail was being rejected because the reverse-DNS (PTR) record was never configured.
The paid backup add-on failed the first time it ran.
The pricing was raised silently. The company emailed all customers a notice announcing a 10 percent increase effective April 1. What actually happened to my account was a 29 percent increase, applied nine days before the announced date. Their own billing database timestamp confirmed it, and they credited a small "overcharge" after I raised it.
After I cancelled in writing, billing kept running. Their own system continued charging my prepaid balance hourly for weeks on a server they had confirmed was stopped, directly contradicting their marketing promise that "billing pauses when you stop your server."
During the dispute, the refund language on their public website was quietly edited to remove the sentence that had previously stated unused funds could be refunded on request.
A credit for setup work that was sold as included, but that I ended up doing myself, was escalated repeatedly and never delivered. An escalation to the CEO went unanswered.
Every support reply carried an advertisement in its footer.
A security note
The hosting defaults new servers onto the company's own control-panel software, and during my time as a customer that software shipped, by default, a documented and actively-exploited backdoor (a root websocket service with a hard-coded secret), as well as a bug that logged plaintext login passwords to a server log. Both are matters of public record in the project's own issue tracker and security advisories. I reported them responsibly and the vendor did patch them, but a managed-hosting product placing customers onto software that carries known, exploited vulnerabilities is a serious concern.
How it ended
I cancelled, migrated to another host with no loss of data, and filed a dispute with my bank, which was resolved in my favor. To be fair, the individual support staff were not the problem, and the storage value was real. But a hosting provider is judged on reliability, honest billing, and security, and on those three the paid Cloud VPS fell short badly enough that I cannot recommend it.

Purchased service and premium add-ons
Purchased service and premium add-ons, total over $400, cancelled service 2 days later. Two months later, still no refund, support tickets I submitted about this just keep saying to wait and that it's with the billing team. No contact from "billing team".

AWFUL
AWFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!You know I have used this particular panel for close to three years and have a few websites set up. But I have no idea what happened to them. I have installed there panel maybe 10 times this week and have had nothing but issues. Broken scripts, missing files and all. The worst part is that not one person has come out and helped with my concern in the community. Not one person on the Facebook group has acknowledge me. I am literally running a business but cant do anything because the service I have used for sometime hasn't worked for me. Its very dissapointing. I have had enough! Get out of the game if you cant perform CyberPanel!!!
