I absolutely LOVE Curology. Never in my years have I ever found such an amazing and wonderful product. My skin is complicated (like me 😂) and I have tried so many different products that never worked or it caused sever irritation. Curology has definitely honed knowing exactly what products a person needs just by a few answers and some pictures so they can have a good idea as to the type of skin and acne they are dealing with to help their patient because these are real drs who’s goal is to help people who want clear healthy skin to achieve it. I HIGHLY recommend Curology to all my friends and family as well as anyone who asks me what I use or could recommend for use my answer is always said with a smile and full of excitement as I get to explain Curology to them and how it has been the best thing I’ve ever had the opportunity to use. Not to mention I got a cute little surprise in this months Box.

I will admit it does seem like my dark spots are fading. However, after 2 months I'm still breaking out with cystic acne. They said they would change the formula, but that after they already sent original formula. So I don't think I'll be ordering anymore ,in fact, will be canceling membership today.

I just received my first Curology kit. It’s too early of course for me to give a review on how effective it is for acne but I just used it and the products do not have a strong scent and are scent free. I was glad to know that bc my skin does horrible with products that contain perfumes. The formulas are so gentle and soothing. The moisturizer is the best I’ve ever used. My skin feels so clean, not dry or oily. It’s so soft! I have a good feeling this product will do wonders on my cystic acne. It nearly instantly calms inflammation. ❤️ Can’t wait to see my pictures a month from now compared to starting. 😍

I used the cleanser, custom formula, and moisturizer for almost a year. The cleanser was actually very drying to my skin over time. It was so dry that I had redness, bumps and an overall coarse texture to my skin. It got so dry sometimes that it looked like I had a chemical burn. This dryness actually resulted in my skin not really being able to excrete excess oil/clogged pores, so it didn't make my acne any better. As for the tretinoin night cream, I had to be very careful on how to use it because my skin was very sensitive. I also tried the acne body wash for 7-10 days and it brought even more bumps, dryness, and irritation to my skin. When I stopped using it, I stopped having those problems. I think there are some very harsh chemicals in these products and I would not recommend if your skin is sensitive in any way. The only thing I like and I continue to use now that I have a found a new cleanser is the moisterizer. However, there are lots of good moisterizers on the market. Everyone's skin is different, but I would read the ingredients carefully before buying a subscription. On a last thought, I find the customer service was responsive but rather annoying. There was a period where I had several bottles of excess moisterizer because I was using more of the cleanser and custom formula in a 60 day period. I had no way of customizing my shipments to where I could pause shipments on the moisterizer and also have a slightly lower price. The customer service agents insisted that the a regular size of the cleanser and the moisterizer came as a pair and it was not possible to separate them from my shipment. This concept makes absolutely no sense to me. After I complained, an agent agreed to give me a $10 discount for one 60 day period for the "inconvenience." However, they did not do what I asked initially, which was to temporarily hold off on packing moisterizer in my monthly shipment.

I love the packaging and how even when I had a shipment issue the team was so swift to respond and fix the issue. Looking forward to seeing the progress in my skin!

Trying this face routine was my last resort before putting myself on Isotretinoin again and ruin my liver. I know there’s many mixed reviews about this company, and many people think it's a facade or it'll make your skin worse (I'm writing this from experience. Having acne-prone skin and cystic acne doesn’t help you feel comfortable being bare and it’s a process) but remember that everybody’s skin is different and your causes of acne may come from different reasons. This happens with ALL skin products on the market. The market specifically targets your needs and obviously they want you to buy their products because they are trying to make money. That is logically how it works. But understand this, not every product will work on you like another persons skin. Acne prone skin will never be considered clean nor perfect in our society's eyes and that is something that we’ll have to live with ‘till the end of time. There will be good days and bad days. I’m not saying that acne shouldn’t be a norm (I am certain there’s many people in this world that accept it and don’t make other people feel less than a person just because they have it) acne is completely normal and shouldn't be looked as anything other that skin. It doesn’t make you any less beautiful than you already are. And truthfully there will be days when you’re not feeling your best and that’s OK! My acne is hereditary therefore there was a hormonal condition that was passed on to me. It runs on the family so I can't get rid of it, but I can treat it. I’ve visited couple of doctors in the past and even tried an alternative Accutane treatment which made it disappear for five years but it just came back. So, my sister has the same issues as me and she tried Curology for a couple of months. I saw how her skin changed, therefore, I wanted to give it a try. Since mine is hormonal I have to target both inside and out. Honest Pros - They explain thoroughly and I always receive the information I need. -You have assigned doctor that you can ask questions to and they will always answer in their available time. -It’s Simple and easy to follow instructions. -If you follow an 80% healthy lifestyle than the other 20% using this product will possibly work. Honest cons - This company is all the way in Cali so it's understandable (for me) that the package takes a little longer to arrive. (It teaches me to be patient even with my current healing process) -It could be more but the amount of the products in each bottle is decent. -They must add monthly payments. Being a college student, I know how much money I make and spend on priorities which are bills and necessities. So yes, it is on the pricier side. -It might not work for you. If you chose to spend your money on them, its not THEIR FAULT that it didn't work for you. I understand that you might be upset if you wasted your money but it’s not false advertisement. Everyone that goes into a new skin routine (meaning trying new products) or a company that has specific steps for you to follow must have done their own research outside to know the good and the bad before buying. That’s what everyone does before purchasing anything, we look at reviews. So my advice for those out there that are trying to find something that works for their skin. Visit a professional first so they can diagnose your skin in person and give you the results. When you receive the diagnosis try to manage it yourself by investigating different types of products and see how your skin would react to certain ingredients. Analyze how your skin turns whenever you eat specific things. And please… I beg you. Don’t get desperate, don’t make impulsive decisions and practice patience.

Just opened up my box! Everything was packaged nicely and it includes instructions/warnings for your new skincare. I am in love with the rich moisturizer, it makes my skin feel hydrated and it’s lightweight. Can’t wait to start my Curology Journey :)
