I bought one of the ornaments as a Christmas gift, and though the person I got it for has not seen it yet... its not Christmas... I know that there going to love it. Hello, We are very sorry to hear you are dissatisfied with your purchase. After we looked into your order records, we understand there was a misunderstanding in that the engraving on the glass award you ordered comes in black - by default even though the product image on our website shows a mockup of the piece in the sandblast/frosted etch finish. Before you add the item to your shopping cart, the product page also indicates the imprint method of the piece. Additionally, during the checkout, we have two places where you can select the option to add on the custom Color Fill for an additional charge. Without this custom option selected during the checkout, the engraving (as shown on the product sample image on our website) will be gray-frosted texture by nature. Again, we apologize for any misunderstanding on our custom engraving process and hope this clarifies any confusion. Should you like to further discuss this matter, please give us a call.
