Whatta rip-off!
In March, 2023, after a lengthy sales pitch by a Crunch trainer, I reluctantly signed up for a so-called Kickoff session at a cost of 10 bucks. (Hmmm. Shouldn't the first session be complimentary?) When I showed up, the trainer (name of Kyle) was busy with a female client, I was told. Just a short delay, I assumed. Well, 95 minutes later, I was told that Kyle was still unavailable. By that time, I had completed my workout and left the building without as much as a hello from said trainer. When I called to get a refund later, I was told that the company did not offer them and to reschedule another appointment. I wasn't about to waste more of my time even if it cost me $10 in the process. Fast forward one year later . . . When I checked in at the front desk, the attendant had the nerve to ask me if I would be interested in another Kickoff session. After an extended pause, I told him that I had a horrible experience before and not to bother me again. Add the horrendous parking problems around the facility, not to mention the extended waits for some machines because of incessant cell phone use, I would not recommend Crunch to anyone. If not for the low price and close proximity to my residence, I would join L.A. Fitness instead. You should consider it, too.
