Rip-off
Rip-off. Scheduled a personal training session that I left after waiting 40 minutes and nobody showed up for, and they had the gall to tell me they didn't want to refund me the meeting and instead tried to reschedule.

Crunch fitness on Roosevelt Blvd(Philadelphia) is one of the worst gyms I ever been to and will never go back again. The personal trainer Malik and old GM Will took $360 out of my account unauthorized for personal training I never agreed to. I spoke with the owner who does not want to give me back my moment sent me a contract with a falsified a signature that is not mines!! I am taking legal action, the gym equipment is always out of order and the gyms are small with minimal equipment. Planet fitness is better than this!!!

Horrible Company, Not worth your money. This gym company is horrible and shady as hell. They take forever to cancel your membership and make it above and beyond difficult. I went to the gym in Malden and asked to cancel my membership and they said they couldn't and to go online and do it. I did and the number they provided was never picking up. Now I'm getting charged from Medford crunch for no reason. I've never set foot in that gym ever in my life. Just doesn't make sense. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS STUPID GYM

Criminal thieves. After cancelling in the gym (Oct 2023), my card was charged for membership fees for nearly a year after while I tried to recover from nearly being murdered (literally, the San Francisco District Attorney's Office prosecuted the person that assaulted me for felony assault and attempted murder). To stop the fraudulent billing after trying to cancel in the Crunch gym, I had to force my bank to stop the payments (after already nearly $1000 of monthly fees were already stolen from me). Then Crunch sent hundreds of spam messages and further threats from debt collectors to harass me repeatedly.. harassment that is continuing every single day from these criminal thieves. Crunch, its owners, and employees are criminals and need to be arrested and prosecuted for breaking California Victim's rights laws and criminal grand theft. GIVE ME BACK THE MONEY YOU STOLE FROM ME.

I would warn anyone to think very, very carefully about signing up with a Crunch Gym, especially in Florida. Their business practices are shifty at absolute best, borderline illegal at worst. I was a member of a different gym that was in the process of closing. Apparently, some deal was struck between the gyms to transfer all of us over to Crunch without our consent, without notifying us, or without offering us any option to opt out. Note: Our gym was not BECOMING a Crunch, we were just...transferred to them. I had no idea I had even had my contract forcibly transferred to a completely different company I had no interest in being a part of until they started sending me collection emails. I tried to send emails explaining that, no, I was NOT a member of this gym, I did NOT owe them money, and that I was deeply confused. No one made any attempt to communicate with me. I finally tried calling and was told it wasn't their problem and the only way my 'contract' could be cancelled was if I came in and, oh, good luck because I had to time my visit for when a manager just HAPPENED to be there. Oh, by the way, I wouldn't be permitted to 'cancel my membership' (that I did NOT sign up for) until I paid almost $100 in late fees (that I had no idea I owed until I already 'owed' them). They do not answer to BBB, they do not respond to emails, they are rude and dismissive over the phone. Frankly? You can find a different 'big box' gym for the same amount of money with 1/3 of the headache.

DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS SCAM COMPANY. They took my son's contract at 16 without parental permission. I called to cancel it and get his money back and not only did they hard cancel his account they refused to refund the money. The punk ass supervisor didn't even have the balls to take the call instead he had some associate handle it. The level of disrespect is insane. I wonder how many other minors they sign up without their parents permission under invalid contracts. Maybe a lawyer and civil suit needs to be brought against them. Just an idea. This the location in Arlington Tx on S. Cooper st.

I joined a yet-to-open Crunch Fitness in Coral Springs, FL. No mention was made about cancellation policies and annual equipment maintenance fees when I signed up. I first used the gym on the second day it was open and already some machines were out of order. Not one day passed without some machines being unavailable due to maintenance. The music they play there is too loud and as a result, people have to speak loudly to each other to be heard over the music. The noise level is annoying and borderline unhealthy. The gym is always too crowded and competition for the machines that aren’t broken is fierce. And finally, when I went to cancel my membership, I was charged for three months when I had only been a member for 6 weeks, plus the annual maintenance fee. I cannot recommend this gym.
