The company has been bought out by another company and the policies are terrible. If you want to downgrade your membership There is a $49 fee. If the payment doesn’t go through the first time for your monthly Membership payment they charge late fees $15. I’m having some difficulties this month because of the slow business and they would not work with me at all. It’s all about the corporation with them. They could not even issue a refund when they overcharged me unless they talk to the corporation. The manager’s hands are tied. I realize that. It’s just the corporation owners that are bad. It leads to impersonal customer service. Other than What I mentioned above, I’ve enjoyed using Crunch. I am withdrawing my membership now. They will not get another dime out of me

Crunch Fitness Medford I had an unpleasant experience with the general manager at Crunch Fitness Medford that I feel compelled to share. Last night, I walked in with my 13-year-old son and informed the staff that I needed to sign a guest waiver for him. However, before filling out the waiver, I went to the locker (literally 5 feet away) to put my belongings away so I could have my hands free to help him with the process. When I returned, I was scolded like a child by the general manager. They accused me of not following rules and policies, raised their voice, and even suggested that I should “leave my house earlier” to avoid being in a rush. The tone and attitude were completely unnecessary and unprofessional. I understand the importance of rules and policies, but this situation could have been handled much better. Instead of talking down to me and raising their voice, a respectful reminder or clarification would have been sufficient. Upper management should lead by example, and this interaction left me feeling disrespected and frustrated. Overall, this interaction left a bad impression of the management team at Crunch Fitness Medford. I hope the staff receives training on how to communicate with members in a professional and respectful manner.

Terrible business in Murfreesboro Tennessee. Over charge, then double charge, try to cancel and was verbally attacked by employee in front of his manager and they were no help at all. It was terrible and embarrassing. Stay away from the crooks-the reviews don't lie.

Worst company ever. Signed for a one month trial and couldn’t get out until paying $1,700. I was told it was for one month no commitment and they have you digitally sign and when you do your committing to a hidden two year plan and they secretly tossed on personal training. Support is overseas and took me two months to get through before being hung up on and one rep told me to “shut the f up” because I told her her practices were illegal

This gym is unlawful and criminal, there cancelation policy is the worst in history, took months for me to cancel, I called, emailed, and even went into the location I signed up at. They will not allow you to cancel at the gym it self, they will not allow you to cancel via email, only a phone number, which they never pick up, I had to leave a message and they said they would get back to me. They never did, and months later I finally got someone to help me over the phone and they lied and said they called me back when I have no phone records on the day they said from me. I finally after months was able to cancel, but in order to cancel they charged me more money. This company should be investigated by the FTC, this is horrible and they are stealing money.

Members or potential members BEWARE. When you sign up for a package of training sessions, although you choose NOT to accept to be charged for ongoing monthly training sessions, it is possible that CRUNCH FITNESS will charge your credit card and you CANNOT dispute the charges because they will document that you did accept a monthly contract by using the signature on your club membership agreement.
