Avoid the Jacksonville, NC location! The incompetence is in full swing here. If you try to cancel your membership, it will turn into a cycle of nightmares! I kid you not! How this place can still run as a business when it can't provide any customer service is beyond many who have dealt with this. I am still trying to cancel 3 weeks now!

Like so many others… avoid at all costs. God help your poor soul if you decide to cancel, you will NEVER accomplish this task. You will get stuck in and endless nightmare with customer service who you can’t understand, who can’t connect you with management, and won’t provide recorded calls proving your multiple cancellation requests. If you fail to heed this warning, may god have mercy on your soul. Avoid ANY location, tells your friends to avoid ANY location, tell your family to avoid ANY location, tell your pastor to avoid ANY location, call your first grade teacher and tell them to avoid ANY location… do you get it now? Good luck out there.

I hate crunch. They make it impossible to cancel your membership. I work 65-70 hours a week overnight and I they expect me to drive all the way to Yukon to do something that can be done over the phone. They have also overcharged me 3 times. Some how they charged me 15$ and then again today 32.65$ I want and need to cancel this raggedy membership but cannot make it up there and they are of no help. It shouldn’t be hard. So if you get a membership make sure you never end up in a situation where you can’t cancel face to face because all they care about is their money and will not accommodate you in any way. Don’t get in a wreck and lose your car and need to save every penny because guess what? They do not give a damn. As long as they can charge you, and overcharge you as many times as possible to go with it.

The Crunch located in the basement of a building on the Upper East Side is over crowed at most times to the point where I have had to leave and not get my workout in. One machine for an exercise that is 1 deep waiting time. The General Manager Jovany Garcia is uninterested in complaints about this situation and has a dismissive attitude. Avoid this location if you are serious about working out.

Avoid crunch fitness South Tampa at all costs. I canceled my membership in writing as requested. My balance was zero and a year later I come to find out they put a $118 collection on my credit port. I’ve never had a collection in my life that’s 30 years of credit worthiness taken down 100 points because of a measly $118 collection by these scam artists my advice is avoid this business at all cost. They will not return phone calls. They will not even take my $118 anymore. They run a total scam.

This place is the WORST. I signed up by phone in August (first mistake) with the General Manager before the gym construction was even finished. The gym had several delays being completed and did not open until the last week of December 2024. I complained several times about delays and got emails back saying that, oh, we will cancel your contract during the second month if you are unhappy, etc. Since then, between weather, illness and my husband having surgery, I have not used the gym and told the GM why. After repeated emails, crickets. I emailed corporate. Crickets. I texted the GM after realizing I still had his number from August. He answered and said he would cancel. I asked him to confirm the next day (which was two days ago). Crickets. I wish I would have done that in the first place. I am still trying to get confirmation of a cancellation but I am also sending a formal complaint to the BBB. Do your due diligence with this place.

I just moved out from NY and wanted to try a free trial. The “manager” a brunette young guy with earrings said no we can’t let u in with a NY driving license you have to pay for it 10-16$. Why should I?! That’s just a type of document they want to have but if I would have my membership noone would care and know that I would still be with my NY driving license and everything would be fine. Acted werid and made a big deal like let me get in. It wasn’t the first time I tried a gym here in FL. They said the same thing and allowed me. Just not professional!!!

Horrible company! Never use them. You will cancell your memebership, but they will just say, Idont have it. You will forward your cancellation confirmation, but they will still tell you it doesnt matter. But you can cancell today or keep recurring charges, forget about earlier cancellation. You go ahead and cancell again, but they will keep charging you. Is it legal to run business like this? Absolute frauds!
