Recently i joined Crunch fitness on College Road. At first I thought it was a great gym then they told me I owed them money for the rest and relaxation room that I had discontinued over 3 months ago. My husband paid them in cash to get it resolved but they never updated their records. They still say we owe them money yet they never cleared their records. Where did the money go that we paid them? I spoke to 3 different managers and they said they cleared it they obviously did not. I am a senior and I do not need this harrassment from them especially when your trying to apply for a mortgage and putting you in collections. Also mentioned they don't take cash. Really you took it though right? Very unprofessional.

I paid the initial $1 when this company was still building. I never went into this gym once they opened; however, they kept trying to bill me. They then started calling and emailing stating my membership renewals were not being paid. I responded to their email telling them that I was not interested and wanted them to cancel the membership. I tried calling as well but got no answer. They kept trying to bill me. They have put this into collections when I never stepped foot into their gym. This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen. If a person does not come into your establishment ever after signing up with $1, that means they are not planning to come in. I have a membership at a different gym that I chose to keep rather than switching to them.

Crunch Fitness Plantation has been a nightmare. The customer service is terrible, the employees are completely incompetent, and they charged my card for two memberships by mistake. They admitted it was their error, yet I am still waiting for my refund. I have referred plenty of new clients to this gym and I totally regret it! Avoid this location and ALL LOCATIONS IF POSSIBLE!

★☆☆☆☆ (1/5) – Complete Scam! Stay Far Away From This Place! Do NOT believe them when they tell you it’s "cancel anytime." That is a total lie designed to trick you into signing. Once you try to leave, the trap springs. First, they hit you with the fine print: you can only cancel in writing or in person, and—surprise!—you are locked in for at least 3 months. Then, when you finally jump through all their ridiculous hoops and get to the desk, they slap on an extra "30-day notice" charge to squeeze one last month of dues out of you on your way out the door. They will take full advantage of you, milk every single dollar they can out of your bank account, and bank on the fact that you'll get too exhausted to fight it. Disgusting, predatory business practices. It’s only a matter of time before a massive class action lawsuit hits them for taking advantage of members like this. Save yourself the money and absolute headache—do NOT sign up!

They lie regarding membership and make it impossible to cancel or switch home clubs. All clubs play their music so loud you can’t hear your own music.

From the start church Flagstaff charged me for six accounts when I only opened three. They owe me over 600 dollars and I have put in 2 requests for funds and have yet to receive anything. The manager refuses to speak to me on the phone and will not call me back. I was also told by one employee that a third party handles the refunds and its being processed. I called that company and they informed me that its the responsibility of the local gym to provide refunds. I called the Flagstaff Arizona location for an explanation. I was told the same story. This cannot be acceptable customer service. I am now on hold waiting for a manager that seems to be the president of the United States because he is always in a "meeting" Crazy as hell!!!

Shortly sfter entering Crunch ( here in Windsor) I was requested to visit the desk. There I was was told in very stern terms that I had entered the facility under false pretenses. (your not a member) I was told that I was using my wife's scan bar. I advised them that my wife was not a member...nor did I know the person who corresponded to the scan. I was treated very rudely by the onsite manager. And, any time I attempted to provide comment I was interupted. Even when I attempted to say " please do not interupt me. She maintained that I did not get the bar code from crunch. WRONGO! They looked up my membership and provided a new bar code. The takeaway is that rather than undertaking an immediate power trip It is important for this manager to take a course in conflict resolution - utilizing civil behavior.

Wish I could give them a ZERO. I have submitted written notice to cancel. They still have not cancelled my membership. I just took out 129.00 from my bank account, I called the billing office, lady was very rude and nasty, she informed me that I cannot receive a refund! This is the worst Gym ever! They need to close. I rather work out at home and walk before I go back here. Just a horrible experience!!! I want my money back ASAP!
