Great staff & very helpful and knowledgeable. Always a clean friendly environment with the actual staff . Although I'm not positive how coustomers ( regulars) some not all can have just as much say if not more than the staff &what they say goes seems when a person on the staff has a friend that's a member said member/ members become crunch fitness staff & what they say goes and doesn't even matter and they act as an undercover Mob & that's very unfortunate .
FYI just chose a random date due to the fact I usually go 3 4 × a week.

Dirty Yukon facility…
It is obvious that the Yukon facility is already going downhill. The bathrooms are getting progressively dirtier and while they have tons of equipment, they’ve only got ONE of many of the strength and toning type machines - I.e. one inner thigh and one outer thigh machine, etc. there is always a wait for the popular ones.

Nice gym-Machines tied up with people playing with phones-Nobody monitoring
Gym itself is fine-I'd say good. It's clean. Equipment is maintained and fixed when broken. But nobody monitors people on the machines and many of them sit and tie up a machine for 1/2 hour or more playing on their phone while doing one rep of 10. They look at you like your a freak if you ask how many more reps they have. It can make the workout take twice as long and leads to overcrowding in the gym.

Nice nice clean gym with lots of…
Nice nice clean gym with lots of treadmills and bikes. BUT, they need more of the body building machines or some sort of help on the floor. I waste more time waiting for the leg press and sit up machines than I do using the treadmill. The clients tend to be younger and have no problem sitting on a machine to look at their phone for ridiculous amounts of time. I can see taking a break but that is not what they are doing. Today I stood behind the leg press for more than ten minutes and watched a girl play on her phone and look around. She literally did no more than five presses. I am not talking reps. This happens all the time. I don't have enough time to spend at the gym to get my work out done.

Daycare at Crunch Fitness
I like working out at Crunch Fitness, although I’m concerned with the door of the daycare being left unlocked and anyone can walk right in. I really think that door should be locked and the employees should open it every time a parent comes to pick up their child.
When I inquired about this a manager told me that the daycare at Crunch Fitness is not a real daycare! Well I guess the children are not real children!

Crunch Fitness Olympia Washington…
Crunch Fitness Olympia Washington state. Brand new, lots of sunlight, all the equipment I need, very affordable, people are nice. However, the 1st time I walked in the door, no one was there at the front desk. I waited and waited. Just wanted a tour. Finally had to ask a member where the front desk staff was and she walked me down a hall and knocked on an office door. There they all were in an office with the door shut. That was about 3-4 months ago.
Today, during my workout, I needed help on a machine. No staff was there at all. It was between 3-4 pm, front door open, I walked around 2-3 times, knocked on the office door..nothing. No staff anywhere in the building for an hour that I know of. On my way to get my stuff to leave, 3 staff appeared there at the front door. I told my story that I needed someone to help 30 minutes ago and 1 young man said he was there, but he went to get lunch.
So here's the deal: gyms are by law supposed to have a staff member on duty to monitor the door, the facility, etc. You can't leave the gym for an hour with no one to replace you. If you are a 24-hour gym (Crunch is not) offering key-card access during un-staffed hours, you must have CCTV cameras installed all through the facility. Plus, the gym must provide emergency buttons/ alarms to call for police and medical help if needed. Today in Crunch Olympia, if someone had passed out, had a heart attack, got hurt using equipment, or was attacked, or whatever, no staff was there to handle it. The members were left on their own. Not cool. Negligence. That was a setup for a lawsuit.
I like the gym. But, if it's ever left unstaffed again, I'm writing to Corporate and the club manager and state Labor & Industries Dept.
