I have one complaint- when I went to checkout, it wouldn't accept my card and I have no idea why because I've never had a problem with it before. I had to use a different card to pay, which causes some inconvenience.

It would be easier to browse if you could filter the gender and price ranges the same way. In the chat, the done button is very close to the keypad, so I kept accidentally hitting done when I wasn’t finished typing.

I placed my order 10 days ago and the only update I have received is that they sent it to an artist the day after I placed my order and that I should receive a proof of the portrait in about 2-3 days. I logged into the customer dashboard and it now says they sent the image to an artist about 12 hours ago and it will be 1-3 days before I receive a proof. So that is closer to 14 days instead of 3 days. I know I have to approve the proof before it gets sent to the printer and I have no issue waiting, but a little bit better communication would be nice. I am also expecting shipping delays due to COVID and it looks like I will receive my portrait about 4-6 weeks after I ordered it. Assuming the first proof is awesome and doesn't need any changes. So far it has been a meh experience, especially for the $80 price tag. Hopefully the portrait is amazing and makes it worthwhile.

The proof for artwork looks great, but I haven't received much updates on the order. It's already past the estimated time on the order dashboard with no updates and I will unfortunately not have this in time to gift it as intended.

UPDATE: Crown & Paw saw my review and immediately reached out to me to try and fix the problem. I will post another update once we get everything figured out. Stay tuned! I was not impressed with how the artist extracted the heads of my birds for their portraits from the initial photographs. I had to ask for a revision because one of them had a neck so long it looked completely ridiculous. It was painfully obvious and the artist should have not sent a "complete" design looking like that. By the second round it was still a little long but I didn't want to be a pain so I accepted it. The other bird design also didn't look right from the get-go. Whoever removed the background left little detail around the edges of the head so it looks inaccurate. Judging by how long the revision on the first bird was taking, I didn't want to risk prolonging the process by getting picky with it, since these were a gift (which did not show up anywhere near on time anyway). Also, the second portrait was not the priority of the two so I wasn't as particular. Upon receiving the portraits, both are very out of focus and grainy looking. This is certainly NOT how they appeared in the proofs that were sent over and approved by me. If the photos were not good enough quality wise I should have been notified. They appear fine in the proofs. I gave three stars because I love this idea and feel it could have turned out really nice with a little more effort from your "graphic design" department. $100 later I am pretty disappointed overall.

It wouldn't let me use my promo code. I tried to use the PETDAY25 promo code which was supposed to get me 25% off my order, but the price never changed. I've used this site before to get gifts for people which is why I still gave it 3 stars. I know that the end result will be good at least. I'm just annoyed because I was waiting specifically for a sale to buy this.

I would have liked to have been able to see a preview of the chosen photo before I ordered in the event the photo was not suitable and I could have provided another before Crown & Paw went to the trouble of editing etc.
