No answers in FAQ, slow to respond to inquiries and yet they are willing to let you spend extra money for "fast" service.

I received my canvas today, not happy with it. It is a lot thinner than the previous 3 that I’ve had. And the image isn’t the EXACT one that I approved.

I never received a confirmation number on my order on my initial order placed. 48 hours later I emailed the company to explain in order to review my order and approve it I would need that number. The following day I still did not receive a follow up email so I emailed them again. I’m assuming they will just send out the order without me even seeing it or approving it. This is a gift for someone and it was not cheap. Very disappointed with this process thus far.

I paid a tip and after hitting submit, the page showed the item still in the cart with the same total and the credit card info missing. It appeared that it did not go through. I checked my email and it had gone through. The page should say thank you for your order. This is deceptive and I bet some people pay twice. The store web page has horribly distorted photos on the items. That really should be fixed because it looks so unprofessional.

Placed an order in november. Haven't heard from the 'artist' for 3 weeks now. Revision requests are not followed, artworks get re-submitted back to me without any changes made whatsoever. Had to pay to change a photo, they state unlimited revisions but apparently you have to pay 10USD for a photo change, only the first photo change is free of charge. And then the artist used the old photo for the last revision request we got back 3 weeks ago. The artwork looks awful as well, looks like they've just put stickers of my cats faces on their prints. The lighting is off and the photoshop just looks very amateuristic. We regret ordering here (again, our first order wasn't a good experience either but at least the artwork looked good) and at this point we're so done with C&P that we'd prefer a refund instead of the artwork.

Between the time I ordered the poster and it arrived I received FOUR marketing emails (and 15 emails total). They ask you to review the artwork and approve or make requests, so I made a request. 2 days later they asked me to review the exact same artwork (they had not made changes). Since it was already going to be late I just approved it. Decent photoshop but could be done on Canva in about 20 minutes. Summary: Exaggerated personalization and really annoying marketing. Reported as spam.

When you submit a picture to Crown & Paw, be sure it is EXACTLY how you want the portrait to come out. I sent them a picture of my friend's cat that I wanted as a surprise gift and the angle was slightly off. They give you the opportunity to see what it will look like before sending it out and at that point you can submit a different picture or "provide feedback" on changes. I put that in quotes because there apparently is nobody who actually reads the feedback. I spent about a week going back and forth 3 times asking them to make a small tweak to the picture only to have them send me back the exact same results every time. This tells me it's likely an automated process that could be done by anyone with some Photoshop experience. For the cost and lack of any type of customization, you'd be better off shopping around for something similar on Etsy.

The shipping was calculated based off the shipping address, however when I gave the billing address (the SAME address, but different name) it changed the shipping cost. It looks like a bait and switch and left a bad taste in my mouth.
