Had it revised 3 times - the first time looked like a floating head of a dog with no neck, not a Belgian Shepherd who had a lengthy neck. After 3 revisions, it was right. However, what was delivered is NOT the same and I would never have approved it. The colors are so dark, not at all as depicted in the proof. The proof had a lighter background, more vivid colors - especially in our dogs fur and the white of his neck showing in the V of the collar - the actual product is a darker grey. This is not what I expected for $100! Very disappointed.

I found the pricing confusing and the website not fit for purpose in places. I started shopping with UK £ prices which then switched to US dollars so the final price was far more than expected. For something that was supposed to be £43.95. Somehow turned out to be £60.78 as delivery and VAT I believe were added and then I’ve seen I’ve been charged an additional £1.67 non Sterling fee. When the image came through I was unable to confirm any “revision” notes, the button wasn’t working for whatever reason, so I gave up and just submitted as it. Fingers crossed the actual portrait is decent - but could be waiting weeks for it. Not that impresses so far.

Haven’t had an update and am unable to track my order. It says the account or order doesn’t exist when I repeatedly entered the number of the order. I also paid extra for expedited shipping. Unsure if that will happen.

Which is obviously what the process dictates, but whatever it is used there seems to be subtle differences between this and other ones I’ve seen. Still haven’t received 3rd revision to proof. Maybe they’re extremely busy, but it’s taking a long time to get it right. Would ask for a refund based on what they’ve provided so far & call the whole thing off, but evidently this isn’t an option once you pay, despite not having any tangible product yet & lower confidence it’s going to look ok with each sample they provide.

I picked the dress art pic for my cat, included my cat's photo and sent. Approximately 48hrs later I received the first look. The "artist" added 2 long white whiskers over my cat's right eye and added long white whiskers to her mouth. The background was also a little dark behind her head, causing her head to blend into the background. I asked to remove white whiskers and lighten background a little. They did lighten background. I sent 2nd revision, asking to remove white whiskers like I had already asked. Third review heralded removal of white whiskers over eye, but not around mouth. I sent third revision, asking again to fix this. And added that my cat doesn't have white whiskers, (she's obviously mostly black,) and it totally changed her appearance. Third review appeared with same white whiskers AND they had changed the dress art I had picked. Now it was taking between 24-48 hrs between each of these replies. At this point I asked for a refund. I was told they could fix it if I "explained" what was wrong again. And that if they refunded my money, it would be minus $10 fee. (Policy states at their discretion) I responded that was ridiculous because I got no product. It was explained to me that policy states I can only ask for full refund in first 24hrs of original order. It took 2.5 days to show me first draft. I again said I was done refund my money minus their $10 fee. Another response came saying they were sorry, and if I explained again, they would fix it. My last reply had already stated that I was done. Obviously they can't read/comprehend, again. I again told them to refund my money and to quit stalling!!! Finally another apology and they issued refund, minus their bogus $10 fee. All told it took approximately 11 days, back and forth to resolve...terrible communication on their end. I'll never know if the product is any good, as they could never get it right!

My final product was good but not what I had hoped for. Initially the costume I chose, and the head of my dog, had a gap in the middle, a black, blank area where the neck or collar of costume would or should be. That was for my rough draft so I responded that I didn’t like how that part was missing, and what I got back was choppy and amateur, especially for $100. There was no option to send back again for changes so I approved it. I paid additional for my image on a print anyway because he just died and I didn’t want to go through arguing about my final product and I’m hoping people won’t notice from a distance. Not as advertised in my opinion.

I only received one email for my proof, which got caught in my spam folder. I approved in time but upon the revision process, the pic wasn't clear and I missed a needed change. I sent an email and was told I'd receive an email response in 24 hours but never heard back. My artwork is approved but I haven't received an email about next steps. Basically, there should be clearer lines of communication and the revision process should be more flexible

For the price this wasn't worth it. When I finally received the picture there were random color spots ALL OVER as if someone had dripped different colored ink in the wrong places. For $75 I expected so much better quality. This was the first and last time I trust this service. Do yourself a favor and just learn photo shop to save yourself money. I'm pretty disappointed in the lack of quality. Again, for $75 for a small 8"x10" picture, not worth it. Crown and Paw wants your money not repeat business.
