Was excited to get 10% off, until I applied the code and then it all of a sudden charged me for shipping and actually made it more expensive. Sneaky and gross

The quality of work that goes into the product is outstanding. The management for the customer experience was a complete let down. The quality of work: The artists do a great job of cropping the heads, slight blur to match the background, give the edges some brush strokes to simulate fur, redraw whiskers. They are really great at it. They also take provided revision notes and apply them as requested. The final product does not disappoint. The customer experience through the company *does* disappoint. The revision process is slow. From seeing a preview, putting in a request through the form, to seeing the revised preview takes one day. Each revision takes a day and your instructions must be clear and concise and below 300 words. It is not a fluid process so prepare with ample time in advance. Also, you must make use of your browser zoom to see anything on the ant-sized preview. You can resubmit a pet picture once, but it is not mentioned in the FAQ, that further picture resubmissions extort you for an additional $10 each. You better get your pet's head orientation correct in 2 attempts, the artists don't advise you there. I tried to order my portrait for Christmas with a month in advance. The daily revision updates weren't bad but once the Christmas rush came in, I did not receive an update for 1.5 weeks. Needless to say the portrait was not done for Christmas and was pushed into January. The portrait once approved has full tracking and is packaged well to prevent damage so those are a plus.

Love the product. Not a great most recent experience. Order never registered for crown and paw, so had to email 3 weeks later to start it. Christmas gift ended up being 2 full weeks late, but based on order date, should have been around the right timing.

The picture quality was not the greatest as there were lines in the picture and the photo was blurry. My dogs head fits on the portrait nice but was disappointed in the overall quality for the price I paid for it.

I placed a Christmas gift order on 11/26 and didn’t receive it until last week of December. Each revision took a week to be revised. The last revision took longer and after 10 days I emailed the company for an update. I was told my order was delivered. When I sent screenshots of my order being in a revision status I was told my order would be expedited, but still received it after Christmas.

Question not answered I had asked a question through their online support. They said they would get back to me in 24 hours. 48 hours later I hadn't heard anything. Went ahead and ordered anyways.
