6 months in, and this Sim upgrade has ruined my opinion of Credo
I just signed up last December with Credo using my verizon galaxy s10. Ever since the Sim upgrade, I haven't been happy with the service. I even got a galaxy s21, thinking that would fix it to leave the 4g phone behind and upgrade to 5g. Terrible service still - not any better. I'm on the road all day for my work, and the data service is now so unreliable compared to before. I've got a great price with them with a 25% discount for 2 years, but this is so not worth it now. Very disappointed!!

CREDO: The CARRIER WITHOUT A CONSCIENCE
I've tried to reach my phone carrier, Credo Mobile, for 8 months now.
When you changed your service to toxic 5G network, I tried to call to see if I could keep my service the way it is because I was having trouble making the changes on your website. I waited on hold for hours with no answer.
Now I cannot access any of my messages.
The password I've used for years doesn't work.
And no one will help me.
I want to change my service.
CREDO is the Carrier Without a Conscience when it comes to their customers!

I was a happy customer for almost 25…
I was a happy customer for almost 25 years. Customer service used to be perfect. I referred a lot of friends and posted positively a bout the
Company. I was a big fan! Then customer service disappeared! I waited over an hour for a rep to answer, and mostly I did not get resolution. It took me so long to leave them in spite of the poor service but finally realized this had to be a divorce. After one and a half hour wait on the phone and an hour talking to someone with a heavy Indian accent and being disconnected I headed to a Verizon store, was given an iPhone 16 at no cost, and got a plan paying less per month. Out!

Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service. I was on hold for a full hour than hung up on. They are overpriced and then lousy service when you need them.

Credo used to be amazing
Credo used to be amazing. I’ve been a customer for 25 years and signed my parents on 10 years ago. The problem started with the transition to eSIM. We’ve spent hours trying to get customer service on the phone after spending hours trying to make the transition according to instructions on the website. Once after waiting 30 minutes on hold, it simply hung up. I love what the company stands for and would love to continue supporting the causes, but I can do that other ways without compromising my cell phone service.

Credo went from heroes to zeroes.
Same as everyone else here.
May 2025, I received a SIM card in the mail, and then consistent, urgent letters, texts and e-mails to hurry up and upgrade my sim, because they're upgrading their network.
I wanted to know why, and NOBODY answered the phone- EVER. I gave it thirty minutes two different days. After that, no thanks.
I e-mailed, and someone called randomly the next day, but I wasn't by the phone. They invited me to be a sucker and call back and sit on hold again, which I tried for five minutes, and hung up. Needless to say, I've tried calling multiple times over the last two weeks, to the same thing, endless hold.
I e-mailed again, no answer at all, no e-mail, no call, no text.
I also have a second phone, my 89 year old mother, who needs that phone, and needs it to work. So I have legitimate questions about all this, and they do NOT answer.
Years ago, Credo approached ME to join THEM. I ran for political office back in 2016, and they reached out because of some groups I belonged to, and donations I'd made.
I thought, "Cool, no corporate interests, they donate to women, immigrants, minorities, and such- yes!"
I did some recent checking, and get a load of this- Credo got bought by a company called B. Riley Financial, who had abysmal ratings across the board in everything- holdings, service, revenue, assets, everything.
Then Riley got bought out too, by another company named Stifel Financial.
According to AI internet, Credo does still do donations- and if that's true, why are they being so apathetic to us customers?
I'm done. I've never saved much money with them, and their service was eh okay, but I'm always restarting my phone just to use Pandora, or reset the browser on Safari. And my rates are always high, and I even have lower model phones- my mom has my old IP 7 and I have a 13, and I'm still paying as much as if not MORE than I did with the corporate bastards at ATT.
Sorry Credo, if you'd only answered your effing phone, things might be different.

I’ve been with them for 15 years and…
I’ve been with them for 15 years and multiple phones. Spent this whole week trying to upgrade then I decided to move on from them and can’t. No port out pin. Can’t use my own pin to access website. No calls back no email not anyone to talk with
I filed a complaint with a Better Business Bureau finally. I’m so sick and tired of this she-it.
I hope everyone that has had this experience will put a complaint on the Better Business Bureau website. It just takes a few minutes. They need to be stopped from doing this to us.

Couldn't even get phone service; hours wasted.
After waiting a week for SIM cards, paying the $84.85 set up fee, spending another day and a half trying to get connected, I give up. Obviously, customer service isn't.
