CREDO MobileReviews of credomobile.com

Tried to unsubscribe from their emails multiple times ...their website is purposely designed to make it virtually impossible to unsubscribe. Twice spoke to a sales person (they answer FAR faster than customer service) and twice been assured that we were unsubscribed. For many, the causes they purport to support may seem like a good reason to subscribe BUT if they give 1%of revenue to causes, a $50/month plan provides $6 A YEAR (!!!) ...an $85/mo. plan means a donation of $10.20 a YEAR. Wow!! There are MANY far better and much cheaper plans out there. You'll save way more money - which you can donate to the causes you support!!

Customer service is great!!!! Credo says if you are not satisfied with your phone send it back. iPhone 12 stop working after 14 days. They don’t want you to send it back. The want you to waste your time and go over to the Rude people at apple store. What a joke!!!!

After my experience with this company, I'm having trouble believing their spiel about their support of progressive organizations. Their charity certainly wasn't on display with the way they treated me, a new customer. I felt like an annoying cog in their money-grubbing machine. I paid $72 the day I signed up for phone activation for two phones that don't work as well as my six year old androids. They said they were new but I now have my doubts. I had to spend hours on the phone activating/transferring my phone numbers myself. Apparently, the phone activation fee doesn't include them doing anything but charging my VISA. The first bill should have been about $83 for service for two phones and it was $152. It showed the $72 which I had already paid for by VISA as due! The fees and taxes were much higher than they led me to believe and they wouldn't tell me what my real monthly expense would be after the first (surprising) bill came out. I've never seen an invoice so poorly designed that it was unintelligible to even my husband, who is a retired military officer and engineer--but perhaps that was by design. The first bill was confusing, fishy and misleading, and they could give me no reason why I was being billed again for the $72 activation fee. I wasn't going to wait for the next billing cycle to see what my real monthly bill would be and become locked into a two year contract with this lousy organization. The reps I did speak to after waiting anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour on the phone and being passed from one person to another several times so the wait times compounded drastically (with horrendous "music" that they must have pulled from a gulag somewhere) were no help and some were downright surly. I paid their final bill of $62 for two weeks of lousy and intermittent service and was relieved I'd never have to deal with such a wretched company again. I'm afraid the feel good story about this company doesn't end happily for their customers. Don't fall for it and lose many days of your life (and lots of money) to this undeserving corporation.

i was going with credo and i called customer service to find out that the phones that are free arent actually free even though they state it as such. it isn't unlocked till 2 years even though its free it would be unlocked at that point so they lock you out which is heavy false advertisement. best part is the guy tried to sway away from the conversation so he didn't have to state yeah it was false advertisement biggest scam I have ever seen.

These people are scammers. I bought a Phone online through their web service and it said my monthly payment would be $49.95 a month. Two days later I get an email saying my monthly bill would be $65 a month. After calling and talking to them my plan was canceled although the phone had been shipped. They sent me a return label and when the phone arrived I took it to UPS the next day and returned it. Four days after they received it back and I have notice to prove it they sent me an email saying I only had a few days to return it or I would be billed in full. I sent them an email and proof that they had the phone back and told them they need to send my refund in the same amount of time that they allowed me to return the phone. To this point I have not received a refund after calling they said it would be a few more days. I’m seriously considering turning them over to the state attorney generals office. My advice to anyone dealing with them is if you do it online through their website please take screenshots as I did so you will have proof.

This company if fraudulent! I wish I had done my homework before attempting to get service with them. I attempted to sign up and was going to get a mobile device through them, I signed up, and paid to have my phone sent over night. A minute after I hit send I got a message saying we are reviewing your order will hear from us in 1 to 3 days?? Same day I was informed they wouldn’t be approving me which I would have said fine however the minute I signed up they took the money out of my account it’s been 7 days and it’s still not back in my account so I will be reporting them to consumer protection, the BBB and the media if money still isn’t back in my account today this is ridiculous, criminal!! I’ve reached out several times email after email I’ve called all I get is it’s coming you will receive it be patient , be patient??? Stay away is all I can say

I keep receiving emails, but I never signed up for this (I hadn't even heard of this company). When I try to unsubscribe, it doesn't work. So I'm stuck with these emails for which I never signed up. I wonder if this is even legal... You can't even contact them, email addresses don't work. Is this company even trustworthy?

Can I give them less than one star? I signed up for Credo Mobile 1 year ago. My reception has stopped functioning. The sound quality is very poor. Usually my call drops after about 15 minutes, possibly again when I call back. I have contacted them about it. They said it was not their fault and they would not solve it. By the way, getting a person on the phone can take upwards of 30 minutes and they do not staff their chat function after hours. I bought a second phone from Apple, hoping it would get better, and it has not.
