They bait and switch, they also collect a lot of personal information, including credit card number. After careful review it's been discovered that this company sells your personal information and shares your billing information with alleged creditors. Be very careful and find a more reputable service provider. If it sounded too good to be true, it's because it is.

I'm sitting here on hold with Credo. Had to wait over 20 minutes before the first customer assistant picked up. They couldn't solve our problem, so she put me on hold again. I have been sitting on hold for an hour and a half waiting for someone to help us. All of a sudden the call spontaneously hung up on me. This is the SECOND time this has happened. I've been a CREDO member since before it was called CREDO. Not anymore. We're done. Apparently, they don't even donate that much to progressive causes anymore. Crappy customer service = lost business.

Was with them for ten years. Thought I was doing a good thing but know finding out that isn’t the truth seeing they give very little to progressive organizations. I spent endless hours waiting for a customer service rep to help me. They screwed up my phone orders and the latest service update where they sent me a new sim card did not work at all. Stay away and give your donations to your causes yourself with the money you will save by going elsewhere.

If I could give it zero stars I would! Absolutely the worst phone experience I've ever had in my life. I joined them in February of 2021 and left in March of 2021. I was supposedly getting my phone service for $35 a month but that turned into over $100 for that first month. It is now May and They are still trying to access my bank account! Whatever you do, do NOT go with credo mobile, you will regret it!

I had CREDO service for 4 years after switching from Verizon. In short, I am now back with Verizon. Here's why: - Terrible data speeds even in good service areas. -Poorly priced data plans -As an MVNO Credo customers are last priority. If you are in an area with a lot of Verizon customer traffic your speeds will be slashed. The phone will say you are connected to 4G with full bars, however speeds are reduced to a crawl. -Customer service agents are very corgial and professional, however I had many issues that should have never occured. For example, I switched to autopay and they did not follow through with their end, and without warning shut off my service. It took me THREE whole days to even reach a customer service agent. Wait times to talk to a customer service representative were in the 2-4 hour range and I could not sit on hold that long. They offered a "Call back" service, I opted to try it, and was never contacted. Upon finally reaching CREDO I was informed they apologized and offered a 20$ credit toward the bill. Being without a phone for 3 days cost me a lot more than 20$!! I have literally ZERO pros to mention. The cherry on top is that they claim to donate money, they have a conscience. Okay, they donate practically nothing and never shut up about it. As of this year they stopped donating anyway. They try to act progressive and say they don't like companies like Verizon yet they piggyback off of them. Pitiful.

I'm getting ready to join my daughter's AT&T plan. She never has problems with service; I have problems consistently. I went with Credo around 6 years ago primarily because I was paying a lot to Verizon, and I had been a donor to Credo because of their claims to be a progressive organization. Because I had been such a longstanding donor, I got a really nice deal with an iPhone I already had. I have stayed with Credo this long because I'm a loyal customer, and I believed they were doing good in the world. Reading other reviews, I see that is a scam too. Cutting to the chase, the service is unreliable. My glove compartment and door pockets used to be stuffed with maps. When GPS came along I got rid of them. Credo's service has left me stranded and lost when I needed service the most. I'm up in age, Black, and female, three strikes you don't want against you when you are lost. I'm also a world traveler. Don't go to Europe or anywhere out of the country. Service is literally nonexistent, no matter the steps they tell you to take. I recently moved about 50 miles from my old residence, and in my new city I'm having problems with service, not being able to use GPS, or go on walks while listening to podcasts because the connection drops. Frustrating! When I spoke with customer service, I was told to just give them a call when it happened again. Wow! Stay away!
