I’ll be completely honest
I’ll be completely honest. When you first start out and your dealer rating starts out at a five it almost seems hopeless. It’s hard to find a vehicle that will work. But, once you get those first 10 deals done and your dealer rating is lowered. It gets easier. And as you continue on, it just gets better and better. Credit Acceptance was always a small part of our business and I just thought it would always be that way. Recently we opened our fourth location. And I contribute that a lot to Credit Acceptance. We typically sell between 60 to 120 cars per month. And I would say 50 to 60% of our deals are now with Credit Acceptance. We recently opened our fourth location. And our dealer rating is high again because it’s brand new. But in order to make money, sometimes you have to spend some money, or yes, maybe even lose some money. I instructed my sales manager any deal making even a few hundred dollars or losing up to $1500 is acceptable. We just need to get those first 10 deals done regardless the cost. The payout in the end is well worth it. And the quick funding also helps with cash flow. If we sell a car that morning often we have the money in our bank that afternoon. If not, it’s definitely there the next morning. we are also blessed to have a wonderful market manager, who is always available to us. She’s never more than a phone call away and if we need her to show up at any of the four locations, she comes and helps wherever needed. We are very thankful for Kassie Matyskiela and the hard work and dedication that she has proved to have towards our business and our growth.
