Cracker BarrelReviews of crackerbarrel.com

Service was great but they always seem to leave something out. I ordered the turkey and dressing special and never did get the sweet potato casserole or biscuits it says comes with. It was equivalent to a tv dinner.

Flawless southern food in San Marcos. This deserves at least 3 stars. Get the fried apples

Milford Cracker Barrel has always been a good place to go over the years. I live locally and decided to take my daughter for breakfast due to my cooking a huge family meal the night before. Arrived and got seated fairly quickly and the help were pleasant. Waiter was pleasant too. Ordered basic breakfast fair and a new Chicken and Waffle dish. All the food was fair and not very hot because they waited to serve us together so all the food on the plates were different temps and none of them hot. Wasn't going to complain and decided to just eat and enjoy. I dug into my eggs over easy and as I withdrew the fork from my mouth, I felt something tugging a little and proceeded to pull a blondish or grey wavy/curly (pube?) hair out of my mouth. I didn't bug out like a crazy person and asked for the manager. He arrived promptly and semi apologized but said he had no one with grey or blonde hair so it must have fallen off someone's clothing. I went and spoke to the manager on the side and asked him to explain his answer and he reiterated that there was no one on staff with that color hair cooking or serving. I again told him it was not ON my food, it was in my food underneath, otherwise I would have seen it and not put it in my mouth. He stuck to his guns and took the price of my breakfast off, I tipped the waiter $5 so he wasnt screwed out of the money either. I asked the same manager again for the district manager's name and phone number. I have been calling them for 2 days to speak with Angela Ramos at 888-856-1853 ext 8249 at their Tennessee HQ but apparently I find out that she does not take direct calls and her extension is unreachable. So I was sent to customer care or some department to have them deal with me and again, for 2 days no one has called me back. So The food situation is reprehensible and their management/customer service doesnt care apparently....might be why they are starting to close some their stores in some states? WILL NOT BE A PATRON OF THIS PLACE EVER AGAIN....a very dissatisfied ex-loyal fan of this establishment :(

I used to be a regular customer there. It seems ever since the covid bull crap that cracker barrel has taken a steady downturn in all there services. waiting to be waited on takes a very long time, waiting for your food is very annoying. Watching others come in be seated and served food while your still waiting for your own food. Yes the managment and staff at this cracker barrel in Monroe Michigan has sunk into a hole. I am done with cracker barrel . i have wrote review 2 years ago here. about very poor customer service but i thought i'd give it a chance . Well i was dissappointed quite a few times after that last review. So i am done , i'll go elsewhere to enjoy dinning out.

We got there at 2:45, but didn’t get our food until 4:40. My toast was over cooked and my fiancées Mac n cheese was cold. We will never choose to go back to Cracker Barrel in Fayetteville NC, and we most certainly have little interest going to any other Cracker Barrel elsewhere.

We have for some 40 years stopped at a Cracker Barrel when we were on a family vacation. It became a family tradition. Even our kids carried on with it when they grew up and had their own families. Always texting pictures of the visit to the rest of the family. We’ve always had good service and good food at all of them. Til now. My husband and I were just heading home from a vacation and carry out our tradition at a Cracker Barrel in Findlay Ohio. We got there about 4:30 PM in which there weren’t very many people there for the dinner rush yet. It took us 45 minutes to get our meal. We talked about how we pitied all those people coming in as the place filled up. How long would it take them to get theirs? The food was decent, but we noticed some things have changed for the worse. What happened to the hash brown casserole that had that cheesy crispy topping on it in a little casserole dish? Why did it get replaced by a blob of hashbrowns with cheese Mixed in? What happened to the buttery honey glazed carrots now replace by slightly sweeten cooked carrots? What happened to the little plates they bring out for you when you get your biscuits? Replaced by “here hope this ties you over while you’re waiting for your food.” Were we supposed to eat them over the basket together? When we did get our food, that’s when my husband noticed that he didn’t have his hash brown casserole, in which, as I said a big disappointment, when he finally got it. Not even an apology for forgetting it from our waiter. When we were done, we had asked for a to go box, and we ended up having to go hunt it down ourselves. Our waiter was just sort of ok so he got a sort of ok tip. We are the type of people that will tip well for a good service. Have people forgotten what that’s like? To give good service because many of us do appreciate it! Yes it could’ve been worse but after all these years this was our first disappointment in Cracker Barrel. What has changed? Understandably perhaps there’s a shortage of workers for Cracker Barrel as has affected other companies. But any company can train their workers to be good servers, and to keep making good food if they had the reputation for doing so. Yeah I know it’s just one place but this one place basically has disillusioned us for future trips. Some traditions just kind of die out and change into other traditions. Sorry Cracker Barrel maybe this is one of them.

Over numerous years we have eaten here. (Kissimmee fl) Yesterday was a category of disasters. Our two dinners were brought to us. When I looked at my husbands his steak (he asked for well done) was actually meat loaf🤷‍♀️ my dinner was a turkey meal (not strictly what I ordered). So obviously we were given the wrong meals. 🙈 I ate some and when my husbands dinner arrived one side of his steak was well done and the other side was “Burnt”We Don’t eat Burnt food! I asked for the bill and said I was only paying for one meal and two drinks. The server made me wait a considerable amount of time for this. In the end we went to the desk to pay. she brought the bill to us moaning we didn’t give her time to print the bill. Then the server actually argued with both of us, saying my husband asked for well done and that’s what he got. By this time my husband was annoyed and showed the server the meat. she continued raising her voice and arguing to my husband, in full view of the rest of the restaurant. the server eventually threw her arms up in the air and walked off. I have never experienced such rudeness and bad attitude from anyone serving us food in my entire life. so we asked for the manager to complain and was about to go through the saga- again when another manager appeared who had obviously heard all that had occurred. He told us he had been doing the cooking and to forget the bill ! Is there no customer training there?? What an appalling experience. My husband didn’t get a meal. We actually saw another two customers walk out leaving their meals on the table too. A complete shambles. Yes I didn’t have to pay anything but in actual fact we didn’t get a meal.

After several failed attempts to give this location a chance we decided to give it one more chance, we called inquiring if Justyn was working before showing up, we have often requested Justyn as our server because he goes above and beyond and knew he would treat us right. Unfortunately because he is a Manager (great for him!) now he was unable to serve us, but did come out from training to speak to us. The next person to rescue Cracker Barrel and host us as well as serve us was Alexandria, she was very aware to why we were going to walk out and gave us her full attention in order for us to stay and dine in. She is also a great server which made us stay and eat, it is too bad for Cracker Barrel she will be leaving soon for a better job (great for her), very bad for CB. However if she was not there and guaranteed our service would be the best we would have left because it was almost dinner time and during these times the service as well as kitchen standards lower and therefor makes ppl not stay, have bad experiences, and ruin any chance of a good dining experience, which we have had 3 very bad experiences in a row! We went around 4pm today and service was amazing! I recommend some better training, higher quality servers, kitchen staff and more awareness from management after 4pm. I was raised in a restaurant and know how to treat people and this establishment needs someone experienced and knowledgeable in regards to customer service and management. Best to go before 4pm for now.
