I used to eat once a week at the San Marcos, Tx location. Poor service has run me off. Yesterday I waited an hour for my meal while people around me came, ate and left. I started to leave and the manager stopped me and said he would have my meal out before I could get in my car. I waited ten more minutes and left. Then I discovered an new place to get a good breakfast, Denny's. And that is where I will go next time. Why did they not serve me at Cracker Barrel? Why when they knew of the problem did they not fix it? Why was nothing offered like a complimentary drink or gift certificate? Why did they just let me leave without serving me? It was like a slap in the face. The excuse was they were short of cooks but why were they able to get those around me served? It was the most dissatisfying non dining experience I have had. I know they are too busy to care about one dissatisfied customer but now I have moved a future company meeting with over a dozen people to another restaurant.

The hostess Belinda that greeted us when we came in, was very nice and even acknowledged my daughter that is disabled. John, the waiter was very professional, and polite. The fish fry today was a little tough. My husband had the catfish and he said that was very tasty and flaky. we will be back to try the fish again.

I’ve always loved Cracker Barrel since I was a child. I have not eaten at Cracker Barrel in maybe a year. Today my husband and I went for breakfast at 8:15am. The menu looks different - visually. It looked like it was from the diner down the street. Where did the nice big brown papery menues go?? And I was HIGHLY disappointed in the biscuits. They were not fluffy and soft. They were small and flatter looking and one biscuit was actually crunchy on one side. Just AWFUL. I had to ASK for butter and jam! Really! It used to always come out with a bowl of butter and jam and now I had to ask for it?! The bacon my husband had was not thick cut, it was thin but tasted fine (I mean, it is bacon). What in the world has happened to Cracker Barrel?! We passed up a local breakfast place bc there were very few cars in the parking lot and said we’d go to CB because KNOW it will be good. Wrong! We rarely eat breakfast and even more rarely go out for breakfast and this experience was so incredibly disappointing. I’m hoping it’s a one off but as I read more reviews it seems CB has really gone down hill. What a shame. Someone somewhere has turned this once beloved restaurant into just another ok chain restaurant.

Cracker Barrel has gone down. Hosts and servers are unfriendly, bad attitudes, dirty bathroom, sloooooow service, and false advertising. They price switch. Advertise one price, but on the menu there's a different price. I do not recommend Cracker Barrel.

Trash and didn't even get the darn food. Promise a refund and still haven't received my money 💰

Orange park Florida is awful. They have regulars that attend on Sundays and they can bypass the people waiting in line for a table. Then the waiter John was extremely rude when questioned about why that happened. He asked if I wanted a manager and I said yes. Needless to say because they let this happen and John was rude we did not reward him a tip because it is totally unacceptable.

Prompt service hot food our server was awesome and very polite and made us feel at home in a restaurant invoriment he was the most kind person his name was Jordan
