Done good job getting parts fast

I was not going to take time out of my day but since I keep receiving emails asking to review then I will voice my opinion. My order was not complete when I received it. I did email CPP and I got a response by the end of the same day stating that they had to contact the company that shipped my items and it would be 2-3 business days before I would have any info on the rest of my order. I'm at the end of the 1st business day so I do not know the outcome of this situation just yet. The reason for the 3 stars has nothing to do with customer service. It has to do with pricing of CPP's products. Which I really only give 1 star. I was in search of more parts last night and I decided to check out another company and noticed a HUGE difference in the prices of the exact same products I ordered a few days prior from CPP. The difference was $150 on the 4 items I bought! 3 of the items were Cummins parts. Which CPP marked way up. If I had the time I would be sending my order back and requesting a refund but sometimes it's not worth the extra down time to save some money. I'm not saying I won't order from CPP in the future but I will not order any Cummins parts from them and I'll definitely be shopping around more before I hit the buy button.

Fast shipping decent prices

The CPP technical people know their Diesel engines! They were very helpful in diagnosing the problem with my engine and then making recommendations and providing options to solve the problem with my blown engine. We discussed rebuilding the existing engine, providing a rebuilt engine and buying aboutnew engine. Jamie was very helpful and considered my budget in his recommendations. We settled on a new rebuild due to the lack of confidence in the existing motor. The price to rebuild and provide a long block with essentially all the assessories for a drop-in, plug and play, 6.7 liter ISB Cummins turbo diesel for my 2008 Dodge Ram 4500 plus a 1 year warranty was less than half of a new motor cost quoted by other suppliers. The other suppliers long block was quoted without a turbo and most of the accessories needed were absent. In addition, CPP is upgrading my turbo diesel to 550 hp for a few dollars more. This includes upgraded rods, pistons, a tuner, studs, etc. I am so excited!! Long story short, these guys know their business, provide a great product and do all the above at a steal of a deal!!!

I purchased a Revmax 550 input drum from CPP. Five days later I still had not received shipping confirmation, so I called CPP. After several calls and HOURS on hold, I gave up and sent an email asking where my order was. 10 days later, I finally got an email from CPP stating that there was supposed to be a core charge on that item, and that after I send them more money, then I would only have to wait a few days for "build time" and then another 10 days for shipping. By this point I had already talked with Revmax and found out that CPP had neglected to send payment, and that the item was in stock and ready to ship. (No build time like CPP claimed). So, needless to say, CPP will never get any more business from me. And I would highly recommend to everyone I know to NEVER buy from CPP for any reason.

Have spent over 6 hours on hold for customer service and still no answer. First day was on hold from 3pm til 5pm which CPP closes at 5pm as soon as the clock hit 5pm they hung up. I've dealt with them in the past and usually the phone service was fairly fast not sure what has happened. Also tracking number service it terrible.
