Warning for UK/International Buyers: Site Showed UK Prices but Shipped a US-Only Device
I would advise extreme caution for any customers ordering from outside the United States. My experience as a UK customer was very problematic. When I visited their site, it correctly identified my location, showing a UK flag and all prices in Pounds (£). This gave me the strong impression that I was buying from a UK or EU-based company and that the product would be suitable for my region. This was not the case. After paying, I discovered several issues I was not aware of: - First, I received a notification for unexpected import duty/taxes, as the item ships from the US. - Second, the device arrived with a US power plug, which is unusable in the UK without an adapter. - Third, and most importantly, the ResMed machine is region-locked to the North American market. This means the official ResMed MyAir app will not register or work in the UK. Furthermore, the device's clock cannot be set to a European timezone; it is locked to US/Canada time. I later found these critical details mentioned in the fine print, but I feel they were not made clear at all during the purchase. In my opinion, showing a local flag and currency for a product that is not fully functional in that country is misleading. I cannot recommend this company to any international buyers. I am now left with a device that I cannot fully use.
