Customer Service horrible

As far as experience, normally, cozy earth is what I would call a luxurious experience. From start to finish, customer service to shipping and quality, all perfection. Lately, though, things have changed. First, it just took almost 3 weeks to ship an item that they have continued to sell as though it were in stock. It was out of stock supposedly. That’s fine, it’s not the two day shipping that we’re all used to for a product that expensive, but it is what it is. Worse, though, they have stopped selling sheets in the jewel tones, which is sad.. because to me, their grey color gray does not look grey, it looks brown. And I loved the Navy and I’m so mad at myself that I didn’t buy another set of sheets in the navy as I had no idea they would be completely discontinuing it. Yeah, I’m aware that I probably sound like a privileged brat, but when you’re paying $200 for a sheet set, which is something that I splurged on, and I work hard for, you expect a good experience. So what happens if I have to call in the warranty for my sheets? I won’t have any of those anymore? By the way, the warranty is a pretty reasonable experience. Within a few days, I had another pillowcase shipped out because one of the pillowcases that I got in an order had a hole in it, like they had forgotten to sew it. Last but not least, they recently stopped allowing you to use a coupon code (and same for the VIP rewards points) for anything on sale. Come on, we already know the markup has to be 80% plus so you instituting that policy feels like greed. So basically, this will be my last order with cozy earth. I hate it because I genuinely love their sheets more than any others in the world, but I’m prepared to spend a lot of money to find a new favorite that offers better colors, and when you spend a grand on sheets and bedding with them, I would expect to get to use my points as rewards- even with a sale. Now that I’ve gotten the negatives out of the way, the sheets are absolutely wonderful, when they don’t pile, and I have several iterations in colors of all the sheets, and I do not recommend linen as it is scratchy, but still better than most other sheets. I did appreciate the CEO writing that letter and sending a coupon code at Christmas, that was pretty much the best customer service. I never seen but the experiences lately just haven’t measured up to anything like that. But the clothing is wonderful, just incredibly overpriced.

Everything people say about the lovely feel of these bamboo products are spot on! You fall in LOVE and then want nothing else. The effort this company puts into their earth friendly process etc is SO greatly appreciated and I can attest, you sleep better knowing that. I earlier ordered a king comforter but it didn’t fit well with my hemp duvet cover. Duvet cover had 4 corner ties that connected to CE comforter, however it was pulling away bad from the 4 sides. Just sloppy. So decided to order the CE bamboo duvet cover because it has one snap in the middle of each side, thinking it would fit nicer. Nope. Very sloppy and I’m so disappointed. CE has loops around their whole comforter, but not enough attachments on their duvet cover to keep it nicely in place. The duvet FEELS lovely, but when you want to grasp the side that’s up by your head, you’re just grasping an empty duvet cover. A lot of money to end up with the same result. The provided 4 corner ties along with 2 attachments PER SIDE (versus 1) would certainly make a difference. Thank you for the opportunity to give feedback.

Very mixed feelings here. I just received my set of split king bamboo sheets. I was so excited to take them out of their packaging and put them on my newly delivered mattress. The pillowcases and top sheet were silky smooth even while wrapped around their packaging cardboard, the only wrinkles being on the fold lines. The fitted sheets were each wrapped up around the cardboard like a crinkled, wrinkled mess. Almost like they had already gone through a wash. I guess for the price I paid, I was expecting perfection. I called customer service and she said sometimes this happens with the way they are stored in the warehouse. My splurge on myself just does not feel right anymore since I will always wonder what these sheets went through before they reached me. Not sure if I want to exchange or just return at this point.

I have been using Cozy Earth joggers and crewneck sweaters the last 2-3 years. This November, I ordered the charcoal set and was disappointed in the change to both the joggers and crew neck sweater. Why? The joggers don’t feel as tapered and the inseam length feels longer (despite them offering a “regular” and “tall” size now). In addition, the crewneck sweater isn’t the same. It used to have n elasticized band at the bottom and now it kinda just falls…so now doesn’t look as versatile. Before I felt I could wear the set out and about or to bed…I miss the old style. 3/5 because customer service did get back to me and confirm the style started changing in October. Also the quality still feels the same it’s just the style doesnt do it for me anymore

Update: It looks like my warranty service was finally taken care of. It’d be good if they sent an automatic email to let the customer know the warranty claim was received, and will be processed or replied to ASAP. All claims and messages should be replied to, but that’s not the case. The good with Cozy Earth is their products. Their bedding, clothes, and towels are all great! The prices are high, but the quality and warranty justify the prices. The sheets are probably my second favorite bamboo sheets. The hoodie is the favorite hoodie of mine and my friends, even among other bamboo and bamboo + cotton hoodies. The acrylic adds extra warmth, and makes the material smoother and softer. I’m not a fan of the raglan sleeves on some of the shirts, but that’s a personal preference. The one bad product is the socks. They’re over three quarters plastic, and not that soft! That much wicking power only makes sense if your feet are going to sweat buckets, but then you’d probably want cooler athletic socks. So the bad…the slow speed to the company. Everything from shipping to customer service to warranty claims can be slow. It’s particularly bad when messages aren’t replied to. Not posting negative reviews on their website is bad, too. If Cozy Earth is going to do that, at least review and reply to the negative reviews. If after Cozy Earth has done their best to help the customer, the customer should have an opportunity to post a new review, good or bad, that Cozy Earth can respond to.

I adore my Cozy Earth bamboo comforter and duvet. I also have a bamboo sheet set and although I followed the care instructions, the sheets got pilings after only 2 washes. Too finicky of a product to buy again. CE did honour the warrantee and are sending a new sheet. I love the feel of the products but I think Cozy Earth needs to figure out what the deal is with washing their products and why this is even an issue: they're sheets! Great customer service.

The order process and delivery was fine. Quality of my sheets was great. Overall though I think they are overpriced. You pay for the Oprah hype.
