I gave it one star because 0 stars is not an option. They are delaying and making unauthorized debit mistakes on the account to avoid paying in a timely manner. The entire goal of their customer service is to delay payments, excuse after unfounded excuse has resulted in a two month delay so far. They suck. O stars

What a horrible company to deal with
What a horrible company to deal with. Our banker at Suntrust (now Truist) sold us an annuity with AIG, now Corebridge. Term is over and trying to transfer it and they make people jump through stupid, ridiculous hurdles to transfer out. Service in Phillipines is horrible and no one cares at this company. Steer clear as you will likely be sorry you ever had the misfortune of dealing with them.

Avoid Corebridge Financial, AIG Life Insurance, at all costs
Avoid Corebridge Financial, AIG Life Insurance at all costs. "0" stars. They didn't notify me about a problem with the policy (on their end). I was sending them payments (on autopay) every month. Received a notice in the mail informing me the policy would now cost 4X more per month to keep it active and they would have to collect over $700 to keep the policy active. This came without warning or notice 20 years into the policy. Impossible to get someone on the phone. Lack of management and representatives. I closed my policy and lost everything I contributed for over 20 years. Federal government should investigate them.

Failure to Pay Return of Premium upon End of Term
Paid into Return of Premium life insurance policy over 20 years ago. As the term neared its completion, I called to be reassured of the process, ensure my automatic bank payments would terminate upon making the final payment, and ensure they had my current address on file. Policy met its end of term two months ago, and I am owed several thousands of dollars. This return of premium was factored into my lifetime financial planning over 20 years ago. Was told the check is in the mail, but it never came. Several calls later, I confirmed that alleged check was not cashed, and a new one would be sent. Several weeks later, called to complain the alleged second check never arrived. In over 50 years, I have never been victim of mail loss or theft, and I happen to have great confidence in the USPS. Meanwhile, I continue to receive regular USPS correspondence from them informing me I am several hundred dollars delinquent in payments. AIG/AGLI/Corebridge had no issues with me paying my automatic monthly payments each time and on time for 20 years, but something appears to have gone terribly wrong. Strongly encourage anyone experiencing the same (and sadly, it appears I am not alone) to expeditiously file complaints with Federal Trade Commission and State Attorney Generals Office.

Run very fast from this shady company
Run very fast from this shady company. I am a beneficiary of a life insurance policy. I started this claim in late September of 2024, it is now December 31st of 2024 and they still have not accepted the claim or paid out. They keep giving me the run-around. You can not talk to anyone. Next step will be a law suit and it will be for 100's of thousands more then what I am supposed to recieve.

My father passed in August and my…
My father passed in August and my sister was working with Corebridge. The first customer rep advised there was 165527 in his account. The next rep, a month+ later, advised there was now 165722 and sent claims forms. There are 6 payees, 27,500 each. When she received her check, it was 6300 after taxes, 8k payout each. The only excuse was that Corebrige would give was that the reps were mistaken. There is no way reps were mistaken down to the penny, TWICE!!!

Pathetic & Antiquated - RUN don't WALK AWAY from this Company
Pathetic - RUN do not walk AWAY from this ANTIQUATED Company. Trying to get a PAY-OUT - paper check is somewhere LOST via USPS (which is another company that SUCKS) - and guess what ?? NO Tracking INFO or anything - just regular mail on a BIG, BIG $ amount check. Heck - I even get Tracking info. on a box of crayons from Amazon:( Have lost so much money - just waiting - and waiting - and waiting for a Check to show up. Again - totally PATHETIC and inexcusable !
