Don’t let them know you are struggling figuring out the app.. they will fire you
I was so excited to try this…but was hesitant with the cost and did mention that but after listening to some of the information… I thought I would give it a try. I found the app to be very confusing… I sent messages explaining what happened and received messages that dismissed my experience…. First I made a password and when I input it… it kept saying I had the wrong one.. I wasn’t able to see the original one to see if I had made a mistake..so I sent a message….I finally figured that out before a return message. Then I couldn’t get out of the comments…I guess you are supposed to comment every time… but you are included with other comments… I just was having a really hard time navigating and I let them know. When you are in pain and you are trying to get some relief and the technology isn’t easy for you. Well it is frustrating.. I had a learning curve and I was in pain…. I just wanted it to be user friendly…. I was pretty shocked to get an email from them saying they weren’t keeping me as a client…. Can you imagine… making a decision to do a program and they fire you…. Yikes…Do not use this on your phone if you are older because there is tons of writing as opposed to videos. It was the most bizarre thing I had ever tried to navigate… kept taking me back to pages to comment.. I didn’t want to comment… just wanted to figure out how to get to the first module…. After expressing my frustration and also explaining ways to make it user friendly … they literally fired me… pretty sad for a company that is blasting ads all over Facebook about compassion to be so weird… my friend told me today to just drop using it and cancel but I wanted to try anyway… ha they fired me..… I personally think people with back pain are going to be frustrated or maybe people like me in a certain age group where back pain becomes a big deal. I am really bummed because the information and knowledge is there… oh and I think they blocked me from being able to comment on their Facebook posts…So disappointed. Ps. In over 30 years… I have maybe written four bad reviews of something… I usually just walk away… I would be totally ok with all of my emails to them be posted… it seems they might have skipped a few things…. … there is just something about their interaction that was totally dismissive…I even sent an apology of an email I sent as I was so upset when they told me I wasn’t “a good fit”. Just a totally bizarre experience. Also. Just read the response for the company… not sure where they got that I said they were stupid…. I don’t think that I said anyone was stupid… but again feel free to post an email that I actually called someone stupid…. Yikes.

Ms. Burt, I am genuinely sorry that we were not a good fit for you and truly wish we could have helped you on your journey out of pain. I would like to provide you with further clarification about the events that ultimately led us to discontinue your free trial before it transitioned into a paid membership. We are a small family operated business and we have over 2500 students in every age range actively participating in our program. We prioritize answering every student comment, question, post, and email within 1 business day with the hope to provide a personalized, caring and informative learning experience for each individual. The day you signed up we received an email from you stating that you might have made a mistake on your password. We responded to you that same day with a password reset link and asked you to email us back if you have any further questions or concerns. The next day you posted several times inside the course stating that you are frustrated, that you are paying as much as your monthly unlimited yoga - although you were still in the free trial and had not paid yet, that you had to go get your reading glasses because there is so much verbiage and you weren't interested in reading it, that you have a background in advertising and twenty years owning businesses and posted under the first lesson: "make it simple stupid" then said you would probably cancel. Our Student Success Specialist, kindly and thoughtfully responded to all of your comments and did her best to address each of your concerns. Your responses to her were rude and sarcastic. We aim to provide a peaceful and compassionate environment and given your mannerism and the amount of unhappy comments you left in the course, in our inbox and on our social media platform, we decided to cancel your trial before it turned into a paid membership as it was very apparent to us that you were unsatisfied and your preferred learning style did not align with our course format. Although we do not require team participation, we do try to provide an inclusive and helpful environment in which you made clear you had no desire to be part of in the lesson comments: “no offense to anyone… I want to focus on my own healing…. Gawd” Our goal is to help individuals who have been relying on others to empower themselves, by learning more about the root cause of the pain they are feeling and the exact steps to address the dysfunctional pattern - which does require some reading. The deeper your understanding of what's going on with your body, the easier it will be to get out of the back pain cycle. After much thought and careful consideration, we made the difficult decision to cancel your free trial. This decision had nothing to do with you having trouble navigating the site - we help students every day who may not be technologically savvy - it was due to the disrespect you displayed towards our team. We understand that your time is precious, and we sincerely hope that you succeed in your search for a program that more closely suits your needs and learning preferences. We wish you nothing but the best in the New Year. Respectfully, Austie with CBT
