Within the past year, I've (64 year old male) experienced increasingly severe sciatica. I've always been quite physically active in a lot of outdoor sports and this was a major, increasing setback to my lifestyle and life plans. I tried massage, chriropractic support, even Rolfing. Nothing was working. CBT kept popping up on my algorithm and I was feeling desperate so I gave it a try. I honestly didn't hold out any great hope but it was a thing in my feed that wouldn't go away so WTH? All I can say is that it's been truly amazing. While every once in a while I may feel a minor tweak, for maybe 98% of the time now, I simply don't feel the sciatica anymore. I'm honestly amazed. Now...the program gets repetative at times and maybe even overly incremental and perhaps "sales pitchy"...but I keep reminding myself that this is also for people that perhaps haven't been active and/or have had really debilitating issues for a long time and are starting from a very basic condition. Bottom line though is that the structure and rationale of the CBT program makes a ton of sense once I started really thinking (and being taught by Dr. Peebles) about the physiology of sciatica. Then it all started falling into place, the exercises and therapy made total sense, and the outcomes have beyond exceeded my expectations. I know it won't work for everyone and really...I've never written a testimonial like this for anything but man...this has really REALLY worked!
