While these pots are the easiest I've ever cleaned, the nonstick coating on the big pot started coming off around month three. They scratch and burn easily. The bottom got a burn mark on first use. I had it on medium heat; that has never happened before with my other pots.

Good price. Relatively easy process. Just not sure why they shipped to billing address not the shipping address.

Ordered slicer. Upon receipt it looked very used, scratched up, and not even shiny..Even the manual had been copied on a copier. I contacted Cooks Direct who eventually got back to me. They replied that they only sell new items.They requested pictures, which I sent, and said they would direct my complaint to their marketing director. After 5 or 6 days on not getting an email reply I contacted them again to see why no one was getting back to me. I finally received an apology and they said they were contacting the manufacturer to send me a FREE REPLACEMENT! I received it yesterday and it is a new one. Thank you for replacing it.

I just received a new skillet that I had seen mentioned in Cooks Magazine. It had no instruction manual with it, and I no longer have the cook book that explains the use of the pan.

The system said I had expedited delivery but it took quite a while for it to arrive. Also, the delivery charge was exorbitant.

The pan is fine but I understood it would be lighter than cast iron BUT it is too heavy for me. I am 85!!

Sorry JoAnn! Carbon steel pans tend to be much heavier than their aluminum counterparts. The pan was rated as the #1 carbon steel fry pan so hopefully you're ok with the weight difference but if you're not, please feel free to call us and we'll try to help you as much as we possibly can. 866-506-3048

I love the cooking show. The recipes are great, The people are great. I ordered the cookbook, and that is great. However, I signed up for the on-line version so I could just print out the recipe and it's more trouble than it's worth. Every time I look for a particular recipe, it tells me "sorry, you need to sign up for a better version and pay more money for that".

We are however a bit confused as to the comments you made regarding the books/recipes as your order did not have any recipe cookbooks on it nor do we normally sell any cookbook recipe books! Maybe there was a confusion with another site that you purchased from? We'd love to hear about your experience with the stock pot and thermometer that you purchased from www.cooksdirect.com if you have a minute!
