they use aftermarket and recycled parts - then ship them to repair shop
I will not repeat all other reviews about delays, speaking with the answering service, generally poor service as those reviews are accurate. KNOW THIS BEFORE YOU BUY:
1) Concord does not use OEM parts. specific language in my most recent claim states "In addition, we reserve the right to approve OEM, AFTERMARKET, NEW, REMANUFACTURED or RECYCLED parts. With that said, I have sourced AFTERMARKET part for this claim..."
2) Concord sources and ships the parts causing futher frustration and delays. Specific language from my claim, "these parts will be shipped expedited directly to you .... Please confirm approval, provide a shipping address, and contact information so I can order the parts right away." Keep in mind, I received this communication on DAY 7 of my claim.
Bottom line for my $848 claim. Concord will ship an aftermarket part and pay $203.50 of labor.
Vehicle is a 2019 model, purchased new. Yes, a real cusomer. J Bentley

Still hoping its a misunderstanding
After my experience, it’s alarming how many bad reviews I’m running across. I don’t like giving negative reviews but after my 2 experiences that have both been negative, I figured I’d put this out in hopes that I may be contacted by someone who can help me understand, and provide some clarity.
My first experience filing a claim wasn’t good, but I chalked it up, giving the company the benefit of the doubt. My car was about two years old and the GPS navigation screen started flashing and doing weird things on the display screen, and when I plugged my phone into the USB port, it would no longer charge or read my phone. The dealership said they needed to replace the GPS Nav component, but Concorde would not honor this because they described it as a radio issue which is not covered. Not to mention, GPS is included in my coverage but I didn’t want to be that guy, so I left it alone. To add a positive to this, I believe Concord paid a very small amount towards the repair and that was very kind of them. Very much appreciated.
That experience happened a couple years ago. Recently, one week ago, I put in another claim because my engine was overheating, and my coolant kept emptying out without a trace of leakage under the hood or on the ground. I also asked to update my address in the system because you cannot do that on your own online and because I’m in the military, I move frequently. After a week went by I called (today) to ask if they had a status. Connor, who said he’s a supervisor told me in his words, “first of all updating your address is not a claim and second of all we don’t cover fluid problems.” After discussion, he was very rude and short with me from the beginning, even though I remained polite to him, he told me “let me simplify this for you if you want to file a claim, then you need to email us not go through the website claim process because we don’t always see it.” After this, we had a lot more discussion, he continued being rude, ultimately telling me that in the future, I need to just bring my car to the shop, give the shop my policy number and have them email Concord. After this, and further conversation about why this is different than the instructions I was previously given, also, there’s a claims request section on the web when I log in, I said I understand, and I asked for a manager. That’s when he told me a he’s a supervisor, so I asked, may I speak to someone above him, when he said he would forward me I asked for a phone number in case we get disconnected, and he said 801. When I asked him for the whole phone number he told me it’s the same number I just dialed with extension 801. Then, he hung up on me. At this point, I’m doing whatever I can to reach somebody above his level to have a conversation about this, and to better understand the claims filing process.

Purchased PREMIUM
Purchased PREMIUM, no deductible warranty, the top tier warranty they offer. I was told most claims are approved on the SAME DAY of service. Four days into a claim and cannot get an answer. Customer service phone representatives are HORRIBLE. They are unprofessional, almost thuggish in conversation. Spoke to two different individuals. Rude and hostile from the first question asked.
We are now eight days into the claim, have called every day to get an answer, and Concord only replies, "Someone will contact you." Then, silence. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Will never recommend it to anyone
I purchased a warranty for my car right after my dealer warranty expired,to have a back up whenever my car needs to be fixed.
I paid for the” advance cover” and I was told that my car can be fixed in any dealership or shop .
After 3 months, my car start to leak steering fluid, I called concord , they told to take it to any mechanic including dealership to have the car checked and we go from there.
I took it to Benzel bush in Englewood, they diagnosed it and they contacted concord to pay the charges. The bill was 2800$, and concord refuse to pay the dealer more than 1900$.
I had no choice beside taking the car to a cheap mechanic to have it fixed for cheap so concord can afford to pay , and I paid the dealership the diagnostics charges 300$.
After 2 weeks of having the steering fixed , the transmission stopped working.
I took it to a transmission shop to be checked, they told me that the transmission oil pump is not working and the transmission needs to be rebuilt for 3600$.
We contacted concord and they send an inspector to check the car, and he agreed that the pump which is located inside the transmission is not working , and he will contact the mechanic after Sending the report to concord.
The pump is a lubricated part and all lubricated parts are cover under my policy.
First answer from concord was that they cant pay to fix it because I had a claim recently about the steering ( which means that u can u one claim only which it doesn’t say that in the contract ).
Second time I called , they said that in the contract they didn’t mention the oil pump( they must forget to type it as “frank “said ) so this mean that they don’t cover the whole transmission breakdown. They offered me 250$ to help me paying off 3600$.
Third call, they said the same but they offered me 500$ Instead of 250$.
Last call, Michael who was really nice over the phone, offered me back a full refund instead of the 500$ and my policy will be cancelled.
I was planning to sue them as few lawyers and the mechanic told me to do. But I decided to take the full refund because I need the car to be fixed ASAP, I didn’t want to wait longer.
What’s funny, I called once to complain to the manager, they said that there is no manager in this company .
I left a 2 stars for micheal who was very nice and did his best to help, beside that I would leave a 1 star review.
