Bait and switch. They consistently over promise and under deliver. They put a lot of effort into selling you, but then have no follow through with delivering what was promised. They have very slow and very poor customer service. Install dates are always late. They ignore support emails for weeks. I’ve unfortunately learned these lessons multiple times with Compass. They consistently underperform. I’m very understanding of unforeseen delays but the many problems and lawsuits they’re facing is due to their poor management and incompetence.

Overpromising and underdelivering I'm waiting for a deployment in the Texas 3 facility with the Compass facility updates painting an on-track picture till 2 days before the due date. At which point a new communication spells out a delay with the deployment completion by mid-Sep. Till, you guessed it, 2 days before the due date this becomes a deployment that will take "several more weeks" to complete. This is not the way to do business. Delays happen that's understandable, but the way you communicate about them suggests that you have very little control of the planning and deployment process. You have lost my future business. 12/12/2022 update: Still no ETA for the Compass Mining deployment in the Texas 3 facility that was supposed to go live on 8/31/2022. No alternatives and no compensation offered either. Meanwhile, I placed orders with 2 other hosting providers both of which were able to order, rack and power up miners within 3 weeks of ordering.

November of last year I purchased 6 miners as a package (called Lone Star 1). They were supposed to deploy one per month from Feb through July. Guess how many are currently up and running? One. Various excuses. Then in May I purchased 6 more single miners that were supposed to be up by July. They have moved the date twice. Currently promised by mid-September. I didn't ask for a refund on the first batch but begged for a refund on the 2nd batch as they keep delaying the deploy date. My requests have fallen on deaf ears. Do not listen to any response from them on Trustpilot that you see here on the bad reviews, because they act like they want to make it right, but I have been emailing for months asking for a refund and it's not happening. They feel no responsibility toward their customers to keep up their end of the bargain. This is not about miner availability or supply chains. They HAVE the miners, as they finally offered to send them to me (But I have no ability to host. That's why I chose Compass!). Anyway, they promise much more than they can actually fulfill in terms of the hosting facilities. Then when they give you the delayed date, they say they are "very confident" that the new date will be kept. But nope, they just keep changing the date at the last minute. Obviously, do not use this company. They will screw you and keep your money instead of doing what is right. In stark contrast, a few months ago, I purchased 6 miners through Blockware Solutions, who promised deployment in one month. Guess what, they were up and running in 3 weeks!!!

Ordered 6 mini bundles still waiting for February deployment in September. They have lots of excuses every time but I am out all the cash and not mining. At least they can provide a refund so that I can buy more miners and host them elsewhere. Making promises and taking people's money before they can deliver is a scam. They should at most take a deposit if they are having issues. The only response I see is that they are working to become better but that does not help me and I am out over 250k with them.

I paid 48,000$ for 6 asics (a bundle) which they had to be delived until August. Instead of that, they have delivered only 2 and informed me that 2 are damaged. (The rest two, i am just waiting). Problem is that they stopped responding on tickets. I am trying to contact them for more that a month through tickets and phone calls but they just dont respond. With those 48.000$ i could have bought 10-15 miners from other companies. But thats not the problem, it was my choice to go with them. I knew about delays, but i never imagined that they could just say "hey your brand new asics are damaged and then just disappear". Company started as very promising, i overinvested with them and now i am living a nightmare, scared for my future. At this point i am looking my legal options. Avoid at all cost UPDATE 13 September: They replied to me (like they do on all reviews here) asking me to email them on product[at]compassmining.io to find a solution. I sent them over 3 e-mails there but i got no replies. Seems like they add this reply here to act like they care to find a solution. Truth is they dont reply on this email address too, like they don't reply on open tickets :(((

DO NOT TRUST THESE FAKE REVIEWS - BOUGHT 6 UNITS AND NONE ARE ONLINE - GETTING EXCUSES AND EXCUSES - READ THE BAD REVIEWS FIRST

I bought and paid for equipment about 4 months ago, and they never sent the units to me. They should have sent them more than 30 days ago and the only thing they do is ignore my tickets, or when they answer me, they lie, make excuses, and continue to postpone the shipment of the units. At the same time, they send massive emails to all their subscribers offering the same units that they owe me, as if they had them in stock. DON'T FALL INTO THIS TRAP. THEY DO NOT DELIVER PRODUCTS. THEY ARE SCAMMERS.

I´ve purchased 3 mini bundles, paid for them in advance at $7,500 each. Now I Ask them to ship the miners to me, and I receive NO ANSWER, for more than 20 days. This people are professional scammers, more than $100,000 invested in miners and I receive 0 response. Don´t deal with them
