Not a good experience. They did not bring the correct size truck even though I made it clear that everything had to go. I gave a specific list of all items and even estimated cu ft. They left a lot behind and did not re-assemble all furniture at the drop-off site. They nearly tripled the original quoted price and I was forced to leave a good review on trust pilot in order to get the total cost slightly reduced. All they cared about was money and not caring about my elderly mother's stuff. She had a jar with cash in it, and some of the cash disappeared. I would not recommend. I believe they contract with local shady companies and have no control over how bad the service is.

This was the worst experience moving in my life of about 6 different moves; DO NOT USE THEM! These people are liars and mislead you while keep doubling the price. The initial agents are nice on the phone but if you have a complaint they send you to customers affairs where you are bullied and they won't even listen. At first they just want a "rough" idea of your belongings and give you an estimate which you have to pay up front but then just before the move they call wanting more details and blame you for not telling them everything. They accuse you of not telling them all your list of things that they didn't want to hear! Then the price is more than doubled which you again have to pain on the phone. When the moving truck arrives you find it is a totally different company who wants to be paid separately! Coastal Moving does nothing and gets paid about $6000 for telling another company to do the work. The next company loads your stuff and then wants $20,000 before they leave; and by the way, they want another $5000 to deliver it! This is a total SCAM!

One of the main reasons we went with this company was due to the fact that I was told they movers would put our 80 gun safe in the basement!!!! When talking to Chris Eagleson with Coastal Moving Solutions, I explained that this was our first time to use a mover and wasn't quite sure how it worked. We were moving out of state and requested a person to come to the house to give an accurate assessment for the cost of the move. He stated that there was no one in our area, but he looked our address up on the computer and we went through each room going over items. I explained that there was an attached garage, a shop, a basement and crawl space- which to the best of my ability explained what needed to be moved. He quoted a price of approximately $18,00 for the move and once we closed I would schedule a pick up date. He never once told me he was a brokerage company until after I paid the down payment - got that OMG what have I done in my stomach - called him back and could not back out. The next person was in customer service, he increased the price and the (non-refundable) deposit without looking at the items to be moved, just by what I removed and added to my list. Once I talked to the customer service department - the number I had for Chris E. was no longer in service - I couldn't even call him to complain and the customer service number - those people are a joke!!!! The movers which Coastal contracted to move us - Cross Country Long Distance Movers - were never on time. After looking at the areas that needed to be moved, we were told that they would fit into 2 - 26' trucks - as contracted. We left them after they emptied most of the house (we needed to get out so the new owners of the house could take possession) and they would finish packing on Sunday, September 6, 2026. The 2nd truck never did arrive, they rented a U-Haul truck - then stated that it was full and they needed to get a 3rd truck if we wanted the rest of our possessions. By now we are in the state we moved too - so of course I stated that we wanted our items - she stated it would cost an additional $18,000 - what do you do???? (I paid) They were supposed to arrive on September 7th - did not arrive until 5pm on the 9th - worked until 2pm of the 10th and did not complete their contract. When they arrived, they made me pay in full prior to lifting a finger to start unpacking - I tried to keep the cash, to make sure that the job was done correctly - Kelly with customer service stated that they will not start unpacking until they are paid in full. I NOW WHY - THEY HAD NO INTENTION OF FINISHING THE JOB. They left furniture not put together, they took the basement door off the hing and did not put it back on, they damaged the wall and new flooring of the new house, they broke some items, and DID NOT complete the move. Then to top it off - they left items at the old house - 4 vacuum cleaners, my trash can, the chimneya that I specifically pointed out 3 times and not sure what else for we have not finished unpacking all the boxes yet. The movers stated that they would be back in the morning to complete the job. They never showed and when I called and emailed both companies, the movers would not return my calls or texts and Coastal Moving Company told me to talk to the movers - Cross Country Long Distance Movers - who would not return my calls. This experience was a complete very expensive night mare and I would not recommend either company to my worst enemy!!!!!!

Everyone of the movers were exceptional (Aiden and his crew)! They really removed my stress. A+!!!

Abdel and his crew were hard working, helpful, polite. A pleasure to meet them and very happy with their work.

Aiden and his team showed up on time, took the time to walk me through all the moving details, were kind, efficient, and careful with my things. I would highly recommend this team.
