Coastal is a predator of the worst kind
This company creates false reviews, makes lawsuits disappear and steals significant amounts of money from small business owners. Many if not most small business owners go out of business having lost anywhere from $5000 to $50000 to this company that then refuses to return the funds. Their MO is simple. They get people and companies that are desperate because they have gone into a large debt and they promise to negotiate with the creditors and get them "resolved" for a significantly reduced cost. They make sure that you are no longer paying the creditors and they have you pay them a reduced amount from that which you had been paying the creditors. They can easily do the numbers and know that if you are paying them thousands of dollars each week for the next 40 weeks or so during which they will not lift a finger to initiate conversations with the creditors (they don't even get POA from you in order to be able to talk to them) until you have paid them, in my case, $70000; there is no business that will survive and they will not have to do anything. In my case I awoke after they took $29875. They refused to even call United First which could have been resolved quite easily had they lifted the phone and called. They would not talk to Fundworks either. The consequences for me were that I had to change banks and merchant processors multiple times running from these aggressive lenders that refuse to call themselves lenders. After I took things into my own hands I resolved United First very quickly for half of what Coastal had me down for and I am working on Fundworks but they already have me summoned to court. Once again. Coastal did zero and took $29875 from me. They left me in much worse shape than when I started with them and had all the data to know that this was not resolvable if more time elapsed. Of course Coastal will deny everything and show that I signed a document saying I would pay all their fees up front in weekly payments, however, I will not rest until this company pays every penny back.

Thank you for your feedback. The numerous positive reviews you reference are from actual businesses that have successfully completed our program, followed the structured recommendations, and realized significant financial benefits. Your characterization of our company is both inaccurate and misleading. Your business voluntarily enrolled in an 18-month debt resolution program, structured to deliver over $5,500 in weekly savings — a substantial and immediate benefit which was achieved within the first 90 days. Unfortunately, you chose to unilaterally withdraw from the program after only a short period, despite the favorable reductions already secured on your behalf. At the time of your enrollment, no legal actions had been initiated against your business. Had you remained in the program as agreed, you would likely have realized six-figure savings over the full term, consistent with the results achieved by many of our satisfied clients. Your decision to abandon the program prematurely and to independently engage creditors was made entirely outside the scope of our services and contrary to the program design. We are fully transparent in how our program operates, and we stand by the positive outcomes consistently delivered to businesses that fully participate and comply with the program structure. Regrettably, your review appears to be an attempt to unjustly disparage our company rather than a fair reflection of your own choices and actions.
