Similar to TrustPilot, a company can leave a review if they've had a contract or engagement with your business – regardless of the cost of the contract. Our review team verifies all reviews to ensure the reviewer is a real person with a real engagement with the company being reviewed. A real engagement may end up being $0 if a contract is started and then refunded. Additionally, we absolutely offer pricing packages that you mentioned for businesses. Our Sponsorship program allows companies listed on Clutch to pay for additional customer support services, marketing features, and higher placement on our directory pages when they're sorted by "Sponsored." Sponsorship does not influence organic rankings of companies, however. If your company received a bad review, and you'd like to respond, you can do so to share your side of the story. In the meantime, here's a little more information about our directories and review process: All client reviews are submitted via phone or online and are verified by our reviews team. If reviewers do not provide enough details to verify the review, we may reach out via email for more information to ensure that reviews are legitimate. Any clients who have a contract with a vendor may leave reviews on a Clutch profile, even if the project did not work out as they hoped or if they ultimately received a refund from the vendor. Our sponsorship (advertising) program allows companies to get increased visibility on our directories, and we always show a “Sponsored” flag on those listings to be transparent about who is advertising with us. However, sponsorship does not affect our organic Clutch rank or leaders matrices. No one can pay to be listed higher organically. Thanks, Clutch Team

Our sponsorship (advertising) program allows companies to get increased visibility on our directories, and we always show a “Sponsored” flag on those listings to be transparent about who is advertising with us. Sponsorship does not affect our organic Clutch rank or leaders matrices, however. No one can pay to be listed higher organically. All of our reviews (submitted via phone or online) are verified by our reviews team.
