Hey, we're Closer Pets! And we’re here to keep you close to your pet, wherever life takes you. Slow to process order and no communications.
Placed an order and got an update saying it was getting prepared to ship and then nothing. No further communications a week later.

Hi Paul, I do apologize for the delivery issues you are experiencing. After checking the carrier tracking information, it appears they show that your order was delivered August 5, 2022, at 12:22 pm. The carrier indicated that the order was left at your front door/porch. In this situation the carrier recommends checking around the indicated delivery location for the package. If you can not locate the package, please contact us toll-free at 1-800-725-4333, or by emailing [email protected], so that we can confirm your shipping address and get a replacement package sent to you. Received the Catch Assembly
I received the Catch Assembly and tried to insert it myself into its place, but would have happier to have had instructions. It was difficult, and very sensitive, but finally with the help pf a friend, we managed to insert it so that the latch was free to move up and down when activated. I noticed that my old catch assembly was working fine too, so I have retained it in case I need it later. It's just not the best technology, as I said, too sensitive, if it's a fraction of a millimetre out of place, it easily gets stuck - which is what happened to my old one.

I had to rtn the unit after practicing…
I had to rtn the unit after practicing for a week, we went away and came home to maggots and the u it was stuck on an empty slot :( really wanted it to work. Bought extra ice packs and maybe when the house sitter out them in she messed up but either way doesn’t work for us because 5 days would need new ice packs :(

The twin ice packs are a great way of extending the longevity of pet food, however the frequency of which ice packs need to be changed can be impacted by factors such as temperature, and we would not recommend using the same ice packs for five days, even in colder temperatures.
