I was delighted with Clean Choice after a terrible experience with Nexamp. The communications were excellent and often my bill was zero dollars. You can't beat that.

For the Sake of Future Generations
I know we don't often think about how the lights, TV, or computer turn on and operate or how we can enjoy a warm room in the winter, but when you do, you should be thankful and amazed at the complexity of it all!! What makes it all possible is electrical power, which is an essential part of everyone's life and it can be generated in an environmentally friendly way or in a way that is detrimental to our planet. In the past we had no choice but to acquire this power from coal and oil fueled sources, which are harming our planet, but today we have a choice to utilize non-polluting sources of power such as Solar and Wind generated electricity. My wife and I choose to help our planet by utilizing non-fossil fuel generated power to help maintain our planet for the generations of people of the future!

Smooth transition to CleanChoice Energy
The transition from Con Edison to CleanChoice as my energy provider was easy and simple. I haven't encountered any outages or issues from using CleanChoice. I really don't remember when I switched, but I haven't noticed an appreciable change in monthly energy cost. To know that I'm using 100% clean, renewable energy - and it doesn't cost more than more destructive sources - makes this an easy choice for me.

Customer Service is excellent with…
Customer Service is excellent with Clean Choice Energy. However, when your first contract is up watch out for the huge 60% increase if you wish to renew a fixed rate with Clean Choice as I found out. So it's Adios for me!

Hi James, thank you for reaching out, and thank you so much for your support of 100% clean energy. We regret to hear that you are considering leaving, and we appreciate your feedback. The fixed rate plan you originally signed up on was a promotional and discounted plan, and in the past year, electricity prices have risen due to increased demand for electricity. However, we still have some options for you. Your renewal offer included a fixed rate plan and variable rate plan. The fixed rate is guaranteed rate for 12 months and is an increase from your prior fixed rate, but the variable rate would begin at 9.7 cents per kWh for at least the first month, which is lower than West Penn Power's price of 10.317 cents per per kWh (and their supply is mainly made up of fossil fuels, which pollute our environment). Please reach out to our Customer Experience team to discuss your options further.
