shoe quality is horrible
shoe quality is horrible - sole completely broke after maybe 20 days of wearing. Twice! I bought two of the same shoe after the first one broke thinking it was just a quality mistake one time

Great Look & Comfort - but Missing a Basic Feature
I've been wearing the Joshua in Microchip White Navy for a while now. Overall, the shoe is comfortable and looks great — no complaints there. However, one thing really bothers me: the tongue doesn't have a tongue loop. For me, that means it tends to slide to the right quite quickly while walking. It's a small detail, but it makes a noticeable difference. I find it a bit puzzling, especially since not only other Clea models include this feature, but it's actually a standard in most sneakers. I ended up "fixing" the issue by threading the top lace through the label on the tongue. It’s not the most elegant solution — the knot ends up sliding off to the side — but it does keep the tongue from shifting too much. All in all, a solid shoe with room for improvement in terms of functional design.

Excellent
The shoes looked great out of the box. I love the profile of them. The leather is very nice and they feel premium and well-made. Additionally, they are very comfortable and required no "break-in". I will say that I did have a minor cosmetic problem with one of the shoes but upon contacting Clae, they were very responsive and immediately rectified the issue. Great shoes and great service. I will for sure be purchasing additional Claes.

Been buying Clae at least once a year…
Been buying Clae at least once a year since 2013 ish with the Strayhorn Vibrams (bring back?). I'm someone who hates to wear logos and although you guys have been a little more prominent with the name on the shoe in later years it has still been subtle enough for me. These new shoes I haven't worn yet (Maine it just snowed the other day) but they fit great when I sized up on suggestion and looking forward to wearing them when the weather stays nice!
