The bicycle arrived with serious quality issues and required extensive repairs to operate correctly. This bike was not “90% assembled”. It was slapped together with no consideration given to the manufacturing defects encountered along the way (cross threaded holes, missing bolt holes, improper frame clearance, etc.). This was brought to the attention of City Grounds customer service who offered to reimburse me for an inner tube since one tire wouldn’t hold air right out of the box (I patched the tube so there was no receipt to reimburse). No offer was made concerning the many other issues. I would warn anyone to avoid buying from City Grounds unless they are prepared for quality issues. I suspect this bike may have been a return or factory second rather than an actual retail Marin product. Customer service didn’t seem at all concerned that City Grounds had shipped a bike in such poor condition, so I assume this is par for the course when buying from them.

Had a bike in cart 🛒, l was having lil trouble debit card. As first time online shopper, somebody snatch it off 🛒. Paid $55 more 5 ⭐ at Performancee Bikes great customer service.

My handle bars were damaged during transit the left slide has a bend in it and the right side is perfect

I ordered my son the bmx bike. I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly I received the bike. Once we put the bike together, we noticed the back tire was not keeping air in it, we put more air in it then the whole tire popped. I had to purchase an inner tube, still was having problems with keeping air in the tire. Couple days later the bike was making a squeeking noise, not sure why. Next day the chain slipped off. As of today I have a $400.00+ bike he can't even ride. Very disappointing 😕

DON'T BOTHER!! My husband ordered a bike, to be a surprise for me, & it took over 2+weeks. He phoned CS to see if they would check with UPS on the delay and "there was just nothing they could do." (First issue) The bike finally arrived & damaged to say the least. Poorly packed was an understatement. (Second issue) It was basically thrown in a box. No bubble wrap or anything to protect it, no "this side up" sticker or anything like that to alleviate UPS from shuffling it around their truck. Parts were broken, bike frame scratched & bent spokes. The saga continues but the point of this is DO NOT PURCHASE anything from this company. Their customer service is horrible and they are NOT accommodating whatsoever. In the end my husband kept the bike & repaired it himself. He kindly asked for a reimbursement on a replacement part he purchased (for $50) in addition to asking if they would honor a discount for receiving a damaged bike, the time & energy he spent researching & repairing it himself, along with the hassle of the entire experience. They offered $60. If that doesn't tell you what kind of company this is I don't know what does. It's pathetic & extremely obvious they don't care about a customer's happiness or experience - just their bottom line.

Easy to order on the website. Got a confirmation that the bike had shipped. Waited two weeks, no bike. Contacted Customer support and was told to be patient the bike is on the way. Bike arrived 2 days later. The bike was packaged very poorly, parts were broken and damaged. I understand the damage probably happened in transit, however the bike should have been packed much better to protect the OEM packaging. Called Customer service and they told me they are out of stock of that bike and I would need to wait until the claim with the shipper had been closed out in order to receive a refund. So they have my money, I have a damaged bike that can't be used and I am supposed to wait until they get and insurance payment before I receive a refund. That is terrible customer service. Be careful buying from City Grounds online

Pathetic customer support, bike came with defective tube so I followed directions by taking pictures of tube and submitted an email asking for new tube. No reply in 8 days. I have young children, this is first and last bike from this company. I value treating customers properly.

Called to confirm a bike was in stock before placing order online. I was assured it was in stock and would ship in 5 business days... 5 days after placing order I got a call saying my bike was damaged in shipping and will cancel the order.... Thanks for wasting my time
