If I could give 0 starts to City Furniture I would. After waiting over a month for my furniture, parts were missing and they did not want to offer me a return they wanted an exchange. I told them I didn't want anything to do with them bc I was missing multiple items. Customer service told me I could only offer you an exchange and I would have to wait a week for them to pick up the bedroom set that was now waiting in my living room. Decided to go to the store on Vineland rd and the manager, after offering me other beds that would not be available for another month..offered me my money back but I would have to pay a restocking fee of 100 dollars like if its my fault that the item had missing parts. STAY AWAY GUYS this has been the worst experience EVER.
So then final outcome, I still have no bed. As far as a return I was told no and that I had to stay waiting for the same bed to be replaced. I was treated like I did something wrong. Eventually my husband who has more patience went to the store and convinced the manager to please come pick up the damaged bed that was laying in an open huge box in my living room. I'm still waiting for a bed. This has been by far the worst experience ever. I shopped at city furniture because I thought you guys were the best of the best. However, your customer service supervisors are extremely rude and non sympathetic. I have told all my friends my experience and everyone is dumbfounded as this is unheard of from a furniture store

TOOK SIX MONTHS TO GET THE ENTIRE COUCH…
TOOK SIX MONTHS TO GET THE ENTIRE COUCH - PUT IN CLAIMS FOR DEFECTS, DISCOLORATION OF COUCH (various shades of white), DEFECT OF YELLOW STAINING WITH A REPAIRED TEAR? (this is a brand-new couch supposedly), CONSOLE CROOKED, ONE PIECE DOESN'T FIT FLUSH TO THE PIECE NEXT TO IT, STITCHING DOES NOT LINE UP. THEY SENT A "REPAIR PERSON" WHOSE SAID HE COULD NOT FIX BUT HIS REPORT WAS NOT COMPLETE AS IT DID NOT SHOW MORE THAN THREE FAR AWAY PHOTOS???
DO NOT BUY FROM THEM, I PAID OVER 5 GRAND AND I HAVE GARBAGE TO SHOW FOR IT. CAN'T GET THROUGH TO ANYONE THAT WILL HELP-THE MOST I GOT WAS ANOTHER PERSON TO COME BACK OUT. UNBELIEVABLE! IF NOTHING IS SOLVED, WILL BE GOING TO BBB AND A LAWYER!

Hi Andrew, we sincerely apologize for your experience and appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback. During this time, the furniture industry experienced significant COVID-related supply chain and inventory challenges, though we understand that does not lessen the frustration you experienced.
Since then, we have made many positive changes throughout our customer service and delivery processes and hope to provide a better experience in the future. We hope one day we may restore your confidence in us.

UNSAFE DINING ROOM TABLE AND CHAIRS
I placed an online order for a dining room after visiting the corporate store in Tamarac since the sales person Michael Cameron never responded to my emails even though I wanted to give him the business. Nevertheless, I have submitted two (2) claims about this table as this table is NOT SAFE AT ALL for anyone, especially for parents with children. First of all, I have to tighten up the screws on the chairs every morning since they get loose from regular usage; sitting down which is what we are supposed to do. Second of all, the base is not heavy enough to hold such glass as this glass keeps lifting up. I am VERY afraid this glass will break and hurt my children 5 and 3 years old.
I can not believe this table is even being sold by City Furniture. Furthermore, I can not believe I am not given the opportunity to exchange this for my peace of mind as a mother. I am afraid of having a dinner on my table with my family or even allowing any visitors to sit there as I don't want to get sued if they fall from the chairs or hurt from the glass breaking on falling on them.
I have made many purchases to decorate my home and I normally buy at Baers, Ashley's Furniture or Rooms to Go and this is the first time buying at City Furniture and I feel like it has been the worse customer service I have received. I even paid for additional coverage for my table because I like to make sure everything is covered YET I feel at a loss of words. All I want to do is be able to change this table for a SAFE ONE for MY CHILDREN, MY FAMILY and VISITORS.
I have not had this table for more than a MONTH. 3 days is NOT enough to know if something is SAFE. Even Rooms to Go gives 90 days on a mattress exchange; I should not be forced to keep something which is NOT safe.

I want to share with you the experience…
I want to share with you the experience I went through when ordering my Office Equipment (which I bought back in February of this year.) I was to receive the rest of my office furniture yesterday 03/30/21 between the hours of 12:00pm and 3:00pm (Both stated in text and email).
at 9:57am, I received a call from the driver - stating he's 15 minutes away. I said I unfortunately will not be there until 12:00pm. He said are you sure, we are close. I said, I'm at work I will be there by noon. He said ok.
at 10:12am I received a call from the other driver on a different number - stating they were really close and we should take this now. I said I could not because I was not at home. He said well I have to go over the bridge, so we won't be there by 12:00pm. I said, I don't mind what time it is as long as it is past 12:00pm. He said, fine, and hung up the phone.
at 10:14am sensing there would be an issue with getting my furniture I called Customer Care. I received a call back from them at 10:25am from a gentleman stating he would reach out to the driver, he placed me on hold, came back said I couldn't get a hold of them, but would keep trying and let you know. I said ok.
at 1:42pm received a call from Stephanie from Customer Care - Stated they received a message from the driver that my furniture had scratches on it and would need to deliver it some other day. I told Stephanie, that sounds awfully fishy to me given the fact they are not at my house, I would assume these are in boxes, how did they know this prior to getting here and went on to tell her the story of what I have dealt with in the morning. She said she did not know of the story. And I asked that they still bring it by because I needed the desk, and that we can change it out later the following week if that works. Stephanie said absolutely and went to contact the driver of this (Though she never called me back letting me know.)
at 2:45pm - I realize I am not getting my furniture because Customer care would not pick up and the drivers were not answering. I placed my phone number in queue hoping to get a call back.
at 4:45pm - received a call from Ambria, told her the entire story above. She called both numbers I had and informed me that the drivers were done for the day, and if I would like to speak to a manager. I said yes.
at 5:34pm - The manager finally gets on the phone to talk to me, and I went on to explain the entire story above. His name was Ivan, and he could not be any less empathetic or sorry for the issue if he tried. He offered me a few options, option one, I can drive 3 hours to pick up the furniture in the city of Tamarac, option two, Go to the store to find something else, option three, Ask for a refund, or option four get my items on Saturday. I was furious at this point, I said, no one is held accountable for this, I had to take off early from work to accept a delivery and you did not hold up your end of the bargain. I said, Going to Tamarac is insulting to me and the fact you said it was arrogant beyond purpose, I can't get new furniture, it would take more time to come in and even more time to hope it would be delivered. Option Four is the same issue, how do I know you will bring in Saturday, or ruin it, or both. Ivan offered nothing in the way of help. Could he have offered 5% off my furniture, $200 off for inconvenience, take of the installation charge? NOTHING. They screwed me over, I spent the entire day on the phone with them, and I knew they were going to do this before 10:30 that morning. I have spent $10,000 with this company and I promise you after this experience, I will never be doing business with City Furniture EVER AGAIN!

I ordered sofa on Thanksgiving in…
I ordered a sofa on Thanksgiving, they said that they will deliver it in mid of January. It's already end of March and they always say that the sofa is not ready. Last week we called, they said it's already in the Wearhouse and ready for shipping this Saturday. And today we received an email that it's not ready again. It seems that they just give this sofa to other customers who are local and don't want to send our sofa to our city because they don't have enough furniture to send. We asked them and they said they use another company to deliver sofa. I am super angry and tired of sitting on the floor. Very disappointing. Don't recommend this store to anyone, you will just waste your time.

Scam Warranty Sales for Profit
I purchased a house full of furniture during 2020 including stain removal warranty (empty stores during the pandemic) from City Furniture.
- In March 2021 my 5 month old puppy urinated on the couch saturating the entire cushion and some surrounding cushions.
- I immediately contacted and filed a warranty claim. Supplying pictures and info.
- I was made to wait 11 days for a technician to come to my home to verify the damage.
- The technician was in my home for less than 5 minutes, took 2 pictures and made no attempts to rectify and stated he would submit the report.
- City Furniture called me 2 hours later to inform me they are not going to honor the warranty.
- Their reasoning was that after we submitted the claim we washed the cushions.
- Apparently at City Furniture it is an acceptable request to expect a customer to leave urine stained, harsh smelling cushions in your home for 11 days waiting on their 3rd party technicians.
- They refused to replace or refund. Unacceptable!
