NEVER buy furniture from City Furniture!!! I ordered a new coffee table and 2 end tables for my living room last week totaling $1,060.00 Today I had 2 men in an unmarked box truck pull up to my home with only 2 boxes in "bad" condition. When we let them know that we ordered 3 pieces of furniture they said "they lost it" and we should call customer service. I called customer service when they left and I waited for 1 hour and 20 minutes before a representative named "Lilliana" picked up the customer service telephone line and stated she was working from home and that was the reason it was hard to hear her due to other people talking loudly in the background. She stated she would make comments regarding our conversation and I should hear back from someone on when the other table would be delivered. However; we just opened the coffee table box and there is a large "crack" in the back of the table. I am AGAIN holding on the City Furniture customer service line because I am going to have them come pick up this broken cheap furniture. In addition; on Monday when I go in to work I will make a call to our debit card department to have the payment from my checking account to City Furniture canceled!!! NEVER AGAIN!!!!!

Placed an order online only to receive a call shortly later that they do not have in stock. This quickly changed to the online price was wrong and we can give you a different tv for the same price....which meant that the brand and quality would be less for the same money. Nothing was done to rectify the situation unless I wanted to pay the price it was changed to after the order was placed. I will never shop there again, that is false advertising.

Buying furniture at City Furniture Fort Lauderdale Florida has been the WORST buying experience of my life. I spent over $5,000 on bedroom furniture for my new apartment in February of 2021. It is now September of 2021 and I still do not have my bed frame that I purchased. My lease is coming to an end shortly and I had to go my ENTIRE lease of my new apartment without a bed frame that I bought and they told me would be delivered in a few weeks in FEBRUARY. Customer service is an absolute joke and the whole company deserves to be ashamed of how they treat their customers. I will never again in my life buy anything at City Furniture and I will make it a point to steer people away from buying at City Furniture when it comes to furniture needs. Disgraceful.

We purchased 4 appliances from City Furniture in Vernon, BC with extended warranty. Our Samsung ice maker was not functioning and it took 7 months for this to be fixed. We kept hearing so many reasons but bottom line extremely poor customer service. We were way too patient over this and we did not write review at the time. Now our Bosch dishwasher is non functioning in June and we were told unrepairable and and City Furniture said it would be placed under warranty and to come and pick one out. Of course none available but recently we were told it would arrive first part of September. When we called sept 7, Carla called back and said now Oct 31. 4 months wait is unacceptable. I feel Carla checked when this was coming and I wonder who has the one that came now. We purchased in good faith and this truly is the worst service we have ever received. We just want our money to buy a new one elsewhere but they refuse. We are so frustrated!

This was by far the worst shopping experience ever. We purchased 3 matching pieces, a desk, a hutch for the desk and a dresser in March 2021. The desk and hutch were delivered in a reasonable amount of time but the dresser got back ordered then scheduled then pushed back then scheduled then pushed back over and over. The sales rep assured me there would be no more delays yet it happened again. We cancelled the order and purchased a dresser elsewhere. Now we are now stuck with a desk and hutch that don't match the dresser. Oh by the way, they charged my card the day of the transaction. I'm under the impression they cannot charge until product ships. NEVER AGAIN !!

I experienced the same negative experience as the majority of these posters. After months I still have furniture sitting in my garage where City Furniture was unable to complete the entire set. So useless pieces delivered. Yet they won’t pick it up & refund my money. Big mistake to allow them to deliver partial pieces. Untrained & unprofessional employees but that atmosphere is corporates blame. Stay away. No furniture would be a better experience than dealing with this company. I had great experiences at Baer Furniture & Gallery Furniture.

BUYER BEWARE!! City Furniture will sell you anything you want - plus more!! but when it comes to delivery, they all of a sudden don't have it!! I placed an order 8 months ago!! Still waiting for it!! Customer Care is useless!! They don't have a clue what they're doing. She literally told me, "we can't send you something we don't have". OMG!! They are so bad!! Do yourself a favor. GO ELSEWHERE!!

Worst experience.two bed set damages and theydo not refund your money back.be aware of this company .they are stealing your money.
