I bought a sofa two years ago along with the extended warranty. Now the seams are ripping apart and City Furniture will not honor their warranty. They say this is regular wear and tear and customer abuse. Really, the sofa is only two years old and I sit on it, I do not "abuse" my furniture.

Absolutely the worst customer support ever! You’ll just want to drink after talking to them… if you can get them Don’t bother buying anything unless you are prepared to keep it no matter what. Don’t fall for their fake mattress guarantee or exchange policy either. Sales job is great but you can’t change a mattress for 21 days !!! Your back could be broken, neck out of joint but nope - f u policy is ridiculous!!

They have the best sales representatives, but at the moment you fill a claim of something that is wrong with your order they will forget about you. I’ve been waiting 8 months for a replacement of a sofa that they send to my house in bad condition (looking like a second hand sofa) and every month I talked to a “customer care representative” and they keep pushing the delivery date. BTW: THERE IS A NO REFUND/NO RETURN POLICY

Worst furniture company to ever exist. Delivery day came and they completely forgot the hardware to install the set. Then I was told it would take 4-6 weeks for them to get the hardware that they forgot at the warehouse. Makes no sense how it takes 4-6 weeks to just go back to the warehouse to grab what they forgot. I declined the delivery and they said they would deliver a new set the following week, and yet again forgot the hardware again. It turns out that they don't really have full sets of furniture and are trying to half deliver orders. I cancelled the entire bedset since they told me that it wouldn't be delivered until June/July because the bed set was now somehow on back order. I spoke to a manager and they simply told me that they had one bed set in stock and could deliver it by January 17. Afterwards, someone from the social media team reached out to us and told us that basically whoever setup the delivery of January 17th was lying to us because there was nothing in stock.

City Furniture False Advertising Horrible Purchase Experience I purchased a love seat on special price. City Furniture delivered a sectional sofa because they didn’t have the advertised item. This sectional was delivered in half also missing the legs. The company allegedly said the item I purchased was not available and they decided to change the item without consulting me as the client. The company has in stock a similar love seat in different color but not at reduced price and they don’t want to honor my purchase with that similar item but asking me to pay difference. This is a scam to get a client to release a payment without having the item available to force then a sale of a more expensive product. Buying at City Furniture is the most horrible experience where any manager has no decision to solve their own lack of customer service and internal problems damaging the customers. City Furniture incurred in many mistakes with my purchase. First an incorrect furniture not ordered by me was delivered and it was labeled as the one I purchased. The company falsely advertised an item that is not available forcing me to pay extra for the incorrect item and also the item delivered half incomplete sectional without legs and missing half of the sofa. Then asking me to pay huge extra if I want to keep it but then, not available neither to fulfill. Also the delivery guys asked my mother to pay $60 yo bring the sofa up to my apartment and they also broke the elevator sensor piece that I have now to pay. customer service online, by phone and in the store supervisor and managers told me that no one neither the company owner can do anything for my. I couldn’t accommodate my family with the mess left at my home by your company in this new year eve.

Let the buyer beware! I bought a chair there and when delivered, the threads at the seams of the material on one of the arms had pulled loose. After time it would cause the material to come apart. I reported the issue within one hour of delivery. I was contacted by customer support who said they would send a technician to repair the defect. I explained that new furniture (or any other product for that matter) should not require repairs. The rep then asked me if I would accept the furniture “as is” in exchange for a gift card or discount on the item. We all work really hard for our money so why would I accept a defective product? At this point I told the rep that I just want to return the chair for a full refund. I was then told that they would exchange the chair for a brand new one. This should have been option #1 instead of offering a repair or a gift card. At this point I stated that I simply wanted to return the chair for a refund and be done with it. The rep then said they do not have a return policy and that I would need to agree to one of the options presented to me. The salesperson at the store stated I had 24 hours to report any damage or defects, which I did. I was NEVER told that once the piece has been delivered that you cannot return it, even if it is damaged. Had I known this, I would have left without buying anything. What reputable organization would have a policy like this? I am not trying to scam the company. I am simply not satisfied with the chair or the options presented to me. City Furniture cares nothing about the satisfaction of its customers. Go on Consumer Affairs and read the thousands of overall 1-rated customer reviews. I wish I had before I did business with them. I will not be doing business with City Furniture ever again and will use every social media platform available to me to ensure that other consumers are made aware of their “no return” policy. I highly recommend you do not engage in business with this company.

The worst experience ever. I went to rooms to go and my husband took me out to city furniture. I choose a bed room set. It was suppose to delivered at 3:00 pm but they arrived at 11 pm. I was so mad. The delivered person came with attitude. Inmediatly i note ine of the part of b room had damaged. I returned that same night. Then i was waiting for the same one. It came but terrible. Mes stopped. I never ever going to buy any thing in this store. Bad quality.
