We purchased a white leather couch 7 months ago. We purchased all extra warranties. We noticed on one of the leather recliners that it looks like the leather is fading almost. We paid more than 7,000 for this couch and the claim department is saying normal wear and tear. Are you kidding me 7,000 and only had this for 7 months. We are 2 adults with a kid in college who is never home. We both work full time so it’s not like I’m sitting around the clock on these couches, so what wear and tear. So disappointing that this is happening. Our sales guy in Orlando store was absolutely amazing! This was just reported today so this may be a journey. I am not a person who does reviews but this company seems to have issues when it comes to claims.

The bed had a foul odor and…
The bed had a foul odor and came damaged. Customer service is awful. Their Marco bed is designed too long for a king size mattress so there's a big empty 5 inch gap between the mattress and foot board. They will only exchange it for another bed of the same model so I'll be stuck with an incorrectly sized bed which looks ridiculous. This was a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. A total screw job!!! I was not told about their return policy until it was too late. When I wanted to select something else I was informed that wasn't possible. I can't sleep in that bedroom due to the foul odor. I have a stomach ache from it and breathing problems.

I purchased nearly $14,000 in furniture…
I purchased nearly $14,000 in furniture including a 3 year in-home warranty costing nearly $1,500. I admit that I should have inspected the furniture closer but I figured the 3-year in-home warranty would protect me but after I discovered a few blemishes in a chair I called City Furniture to setup warranty service. I submitted the claim online using the website and posted 3 photos of the chair. Then I was told on the phone that a tech will first try to fix the blemishes but if I am not satisfied, I can get a replacement part for the chair. The tech did a fair job but I was not completely satisfied because the repairs did not exactly match the original sheen, color, and grain of the wood so I called the warranty department and spoke to Milton. He asked to see photos of the repairs then he refused to order a new part because he said once the tech does the work that's the final warranty claim I can do. I asked to speak with a manager higher than him but he refused to transfer me saying he was the manager. I am very disappointed with City Furniture's warranty service. It cost me almost $1,500 and what a ripoff it is. I still need to buy another $15,000 in furniture for 2 other bedrooms but I doubt I will ever go shop at City Furniture ever again. I feel that I was not treated like a valued customer and this business plays "hard ball" with its customers. I don't need to be treated like I spent $10 at a candy store. What goes around comes around! See you later City Furniture there are plenty of other better competitors in my town besides you.

Never ever will buy something else in this store, they do not honor the warranty and make everything very difficult even if you speak with supervisors. Worst costumer service.

They are very unprofessional and delivering bad quality products. They send a technician that even talk bad about them and was dirty. We had a very ridiculous situation and they are saying the insurance that we paid do not cover.

The worst customer service ever
It started with my old furniture that I bought with city furniture, back in 2019. I had issues with the table which took the repair company multiple time to get right. It took over 3 months and multiple calls to customer service. Come to find out the service tech were not installing the spacers on the table which was the whole problem to begin with. Then the couch I bought had issues with the stitching , so I contacted customer service again, and they had someone come out to stich up the couch, that did last long. I called them again and they to me they were going to order the cover to the couch and would replace it. They told me it would take 6 weeks to get the couch cover. After 3 months I decided to call them to check up, and they informed me that the couch was discontinued. in which, I was upset because no one ever called me to tell me that info. So I called again, and talked to a supervisor, and they told me they they would refund my purchase for the couches and would give me store credit. So last year I bought a whole new couch setup with a glass coffee table. I had to wait for one of the couches, and the glass coffee table because they were on back order. I finally received the second part of my couch back in November, and part of the glass table, and was told the second part of the table will be delivered in December. I waited and called throughout December and was giving the run around by customer service. So finally, the first week of Jan, they delivered the remaining part of the coffee table, which I waited 3 months to get. So after the delivery tech left , I went to move the table and noticed that the table was about to tip over because it wasn't installed right. After the delivery techs put the table together they didn't even test anything and just left like everything was ok (I have them on camera). So I called customer service, about 20 minutes after the techs left and noticed they were closed for the day. I then called the next day, and was on the phone for over 2 hours. They told me they would sent someone out to fix but it was going to be 7 days later. I was upset because they didn't install the table right to begin with, and now I have to wait again. So, I told them I'm not going to wait anymore and want my money back, and to pick up the table. I was told they could only give me store credit, which I don't want because I'm never shopping at City Furniture again. I also went to the City Furniture store, and talked to the store manager 3 times, and they sent an email to customer service about my complaint and to contact me. I haven't heard anything yet, and don't have time to to be on the phone for hours to get nowhere. So I want my money back, not store credit.
