City FurnitureReviews of cityfurniture.com

Incompetentes!! ESTAFA!

Worst experience ever, bought a 2k table with warranty, sale associate lie on everything about it , warranty department would give you a different reason to denied your claim every time you call ( they dont keep records of your call)

Awful service from City Furniture. It took three deliveries to get a simple dining set delivered. And they tried to pass off a dirty, used chair as a new one. To worsen matters, the table broke within the first month of use (gentle use - just the two of us without kids) and they will not replace. They want to come out a fourth time, to evaluate a repair, then another time after that to fix! No wonder they push so hard on the extended warranties. We will never shop here again, nor will we allow friends and families to do so. I would highly discourage ANYONE from giving them business.

The customer service for this company sucks. I even wrote them a letter over a month ago to try and resolve my issue, but no response as of this writing. My wife and I bought a sectional sofa and loveseat in July 2022. The delivery wasn’t until December. I can live with that due to all the supply chain issues, but the sofa sectional was delivered in pieces and the loveseat was not what we were told it would be so we rejected delivery on it. We then ordered a recliner to replace the loveseat and our delivery on the recliner bounced around with no notification. My wife would check the website every now and then, only to find a different delivery date each time. We had it after 6 months and no complete set in our home. Your customer service team decided it was in your company’s best interest not to return our delivery fee of $180.00. So we’re out $180.00 for a mess your company created. I find it hard to believe they would keep our $180.00 for the mess they created.

WORST! DO NOT Buy! Purchased it and got wrong item delivered been over a week that I call customer service and everyday get mistakes made. They go to wrong location 2x . Third time they send an assembly team instead of the missing parts! Fourth time they give a 3 hour window - they do not show call them and they say it’s on back order! Every single time I call the customer service agent and even supervisors I deal with incompetent people who do nothing but give excuses and no solutions! Please do not waste you time money and patience with CITY Furniture Their customer service is the worst I’ve ever seen! Oh and they refuse to issue a refund or any sort of compensation!

I bought a 1 year in home service warranty.  I never used the warranty.  According to City Furniture, I would receive a store credit for the warrant.  Called to see the status of the store credit.  Was told it was mailed on Dec 30, 2022, I never received the credit voucher.  Asked them to mail a new credit voucher and was told they can not issue another store credit voucher.  This makes no sense to me, they can easily see the store credit was never used.  I asked for proof of mailing, but they could not provide.  So I need to lose my store credit, cause USPS might have lost the letter?  If I received the store credit, I would have never tossed the mailing.  The business practice of not issuing lost store vouchers, seems to me like it could be a scam.  Makes no sense, I was never told of this policy, I never received this policy in writing.  I would like to receive the store voucher I'm entitled to.

FIRST AND LAST TIME CUSTOMER. The first time they delivered the couch, it had a hole in the chaise. The second time, they gave me a chaise that was a DIFFERENT COLOR and height from the loveseat. They refused to fix this issue. I talked to customer service, and they said they don't do color matching as a matter of policy. In the showroom and on the website, the chaise and the loveseat are the same color, but not the one they delivered to me. The chaise is dark gray and the loveseat is white. They refuse to do anything about this. Terrible customer service, the CS supervisor laughed when he said they couldn’t fix my problem. 0 stars if I could.

I recently purchased a Bernhardt coffee table and TV console from the City Furniture store near Millenia in Orlando. I did not buy online because I wanted to see the furniture in person. I chose two pieces from Costa Light Tone collection and they matched in the showroom, but when delivered each piece was a different color....one was gray tone, which I saw in the store and the other is a tan or beige tone, which is not what was presented at the store. When I filed the claim that the item was defective, they refused the claim and said they do not guarantee color match. I could understand if they were just different shades, but they are not in the same hue at all. I have to dispute the charge now because they refuse to resolve this matter.
