I purchased warranty for leather sofa at city furniture. case# 01901422. Paula. Manager. I spoke to customer services. city furniture do not repair sofa . They waited for warranty to expire. I sent them picture last year. I never received response. They took my money and did not do repair.

I put a deposit of 1500.00 down in February and was told that the 2 of the pieces would not be in until July. I was OK with this. I went into the store at the begining of June and asked if everything was still the same. I was told the 2 pieces were still in and the other 2 pieces should arrive on or around August 9th. That is when they told me I needed to pay the other 1500.00. I told them I would pay off the balance before August 9th. I stopped in a few days ago to make the final payment but was told the 2 pieces originally in stock had been sold and I was now looking at the end of November?? I asked for the Manager and she was rude and told me either find another set or take my refund. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. Everyone in Fort Myers, avoid this store.

This company is a total disgrace. Where is the morale of your customer service department. I haven’t received the furniture I ordered in May and no one can provide an answer to why I have a balance for the invoice I paid in full! They’ve called the finance department 4 times with a TAT of 48 hours and still no response! Would love to talk to someone in the US regarding this issue. I need my money or furniture!

The worst furniture company I have ever dealt with. Furniture arrived damaged and the delivery people damaged my home as well. They just left when I refused the delivery and then the store refused to help. It took me taking off 5 days of work to try to get a new sofa delivered but when they came they refused to bring it back up the stairs. I had to write the CEO to get any help. They should be embarrassed Hie poorly this company is run. Even then we tried to work out a fair compromise but they wouldn’t. Rather give all my business to Arhaus or another company that st least treats me like they care about my business. They are unethical. Go anywhere else.

Better off buying furniture at the Salvation Army. Bought chair plus $2500 worth of other items. Chair broke SAME DAY AS DELIVERED. I have talked to these people every single day since. Was scheduled to have new chair delivered today. Took day OFF WORK after confirming. THEY MOVED THE DELIVERY DATE. Didn't bother to let me know. I found out after I called AGAIN.

I purchased a mattress that went wrong in about 14 months. City Furniture initially said the claims should be conducted through the mattress maker, the maker then said the warranties should be conducted through the seller...I went back to City Furniture, they rejected my claim because I have no home service (no idea what it means). At the end, the $4.5K mattress has no warranty.

This is a beautiful store with a beautiful floor room. DON’T SHOP HERE!!! Review all of the reviews before purchasing. I have never had to review a furniture store’s reviews before. THEY DO NOT HAVE ANY FORM OF RETURN POLICY. They also don’t tell you the furniture will be delivered piece by piece, so you can’t receive the refund. A dinner room table was purchased. Two delivery dates have been done and the dining room table is still not together. After the second delivery of the legs for the table the delivery personnel stated they didn’t have the hardware to put the table together. This will be another delivery date. I was informed the hardware comes separately sometimes for a purchase of any item and installation that is purchased. Due to the poor incompetent customer service on the telephone with nothing resolved. We decided to go back to the Plant City location. I was previously informed that Amanda is the GM of the store. I asked for her directly at the door. The sales representative attempted to ask questions regarding the need to speak to her and if I had an appointment. I informed him of no appointment scheduled and she would be the only one to help us at this point. He advised us to sit in her general location of where Amanda was located. I then I proceed to the desk and asked for Amanda. The person behind the desk began to asking questions about why we needed to speak to Amanda. She didn’t have a name tag on, so I asked her name. Unknowingly I was speaking to Amanda the entire time and she was speaking about herself in third person. She asked if I knew her. Before speaking to me she went to speak to the sales representative who sent me to her general location. She then informed me that she knows nothing about the warehouse and their process. She called corporate on speakerphone and the customer service from corporate was just as rude and incompetent about their services. They informed me that the hardware was available in the store currently. Corporate told me that there are NO REFUNDS AT ALL!!! They also stated sometimes the parts fall out of the box. This is poor delivery service. They wanted to send the hardware out to the house with an unknown estimated time for arrival. I requested to pick the hardware up from the warehouse and they agreed. The delivery company took the box for the legs and part of the table was already together. Someone lost 4 screws and instead of providing the 4 screws for the inconvenience they want the entire box back. City Furniture has horrible customer service skills once you make your purchase including the corporate office.

We had purchased $10,000 worth of furniture which accounted for 15 pieces of furniture. Every piece of furniture that was delivered was damaged. Their quality control sucks. I do not understand how there is no inspection of their product before delivery. If that had happened we would not be here at a bad review. Now every time they have come to redeliver the furniture they delivered is also damaged. There was also supposed to be a $500 gift card to accompany with the furniture which we have yet to be received. The purchase of the furniture happened in January of 2023 just to give a time frame. There customer service does not care about the customer, their response is when can we deliver another item, no compensation for the inconvenience of time, and their poor quality control. We will never buy from them again. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!
