I wish I had read these reviews before ordering from City Furniture. Today was the 3rd time they have failed to show up to deliver. Total waste of time. We had to call them each time. Horrible customer service.

Picked out ordered and paid for furniture in the middle of June and I still have not received all of my furniture and it is the end of October. Pieces keep coming in damaged. Today I was supposed to receive the table top that was supposed to be delivered Several months ago. They called early this morning and said that yet another one was damaged and they can't deliver. Stay away from this horrible company.

Will never recommend or buy again!! We ordered in May 2023, and still have not received all our furniture-it is now the end of October!!! Our furniture is flimsy, drawers don’t close, mirrors are unstable, and on one drawer the hardware (the wheels and rails) fell off the first time I opened!! The saleswoman (Jenni Hepburn) was very unprofessional when we called to inquire about the wait time!! When we were buying she was so nice of course-it was shocking to be treated so horribly afterwards! Also one item was not even finished being put together, and when I asked they said the next delivery men would do it, but when I asked again, they wouldn’t do it and said the next delivery men would. Well, still waiting for that. In the meantime the pieces are not secure at all! What a mistake we made trusting City Furniture with such a large purchase!!

We bought a set of 4 chairs and a table for our kitchen 2.5 years ago and added the extended warranty which we weren't going to purchase but were talked into it. Anyway, the chairs' upholstery is deteriorating and are flaking off the top of all the chairs. When we called the warranty department, we were told that the warranty is for breakage and not for "normal wear and tear." It is unbelievable that this deterioration IN LESS THAN 2.5 YEARS is considered normal. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY BUYING IN CITY FURNITURE. THEY HAVE NO QUALITY FURNITURE AND WILL NOT BACK THEIR WARRANTIES.

I'm from Brazil and I was building a house in Orlando, Florida. I went to the city store to buy the furniture. I made a purchase where I was charged $28,895.14, they placed insurance that was not authorized by me and said that I could later collect the amount in merchandise in the store. Then I returned to the store to find out the cost of the insurance. The Store Manager noted in my note that I was charged an additional amount of $1500.00. They refunded this amount. After several problems with deliveries that were not made on time. Missing my flight back to Brazil with my family, I had to buy tickets for another date because everything I bought hadn't arrived. Then I had the biggest problems when I finally received the furniture, all defective, broken hockey table, floor lamp with broken granite stone, among others! I put everything in the hands of lawyers for compensation

Been waiting for 2 years delivery for a bed set now they finally come but CITY MORONIC FURNITURE will not deliver on second floor even just steps away.

Didn't have a chance to inspect a platform bed frame in showroom. When delivered the headboard and footboard were literally screwed together to reduce shipping costs. Instructions said to unscrew the legs and reinsert the screws into pre drilled holes. However, there were no predrilled holes and the material they wanted me to drill the holes into that would literally hold the bed frame was like compressed cardboard. No way should these pieces be screwed. They should have inserts or they should be bolted. Plus instructions said no drill required. The company should be ashamed to sell such over priced trash

Definitely I will not buy from City Furniture again. You pay for a brand new product, and they always try to scam you with a used/damaged/ non-new product. I just purchased a sectional a week ago, and still dealing with the company. They sent me 3 parts of the sectional in the original package(NEW), and one wrapped in cloth and plastic with visible damages and dirt in several areas. They try you to swallow it, and sometimes keep sending you the same exact item multiple times, trying to fool you as if adult people were stupid. This is not the first time we face this exact same situation with City Furniture, and now going thru this again, I found other family members and co-workers that have experienced the same exact situation with City Furniture, that in some cases have ended up with the return and cancellation of the entire order for considering this practice derespectful. When you paid for a new furniture, the company “must”deliver you new furniture, not to try to clean their warehouses from used/damaged and/or returned items to customer that have paid full price for new product. If you buy from them, you will be likely to go thru the same. Good luck if you buy from City Furniture.
